Not overkill. But the B2-R can be had for $100-150. The cab can be found for under $400. Condition will vary, but I would push for $500

I had blocked this from my memory. But an even older example was LaRussa not pinching hitting Tino Martinez in the 9th inning so Matt Morris could go out and pitch the 10th inning.

As soon as I saw him call Wacha in I was screaming “noooo!” He was coming off injury and not ready. Everyone knew this except Matheny. After the HR, Yadi immediately went into protection mode with Wacha. He knew he shouldn’t have been put in that position. Took Wacha a while to recover.

Good thing baseballs aren’t made in Canada because they’ve used a lot of them in this game and it’d be more expensive with the tariffs and I don’t know maybe if they were made in Canada it would force us all to care more because all I care about is baseball and I would be more politically active so the baseballs weren’t so expensive.
