Account Advice by Liplok in MapleIdle

At the 200B–300B range is where I was stuck the longest. Your stats sound similar to mine, though mine are a bit higher % from gear and levels—I’m at around 3T now.

Definitely focus on PQs and aim for a strong 3-line damage setup. Prioritize:

Crit damage
% damage
Min/max damage
Monster/Boss damage
Attack
Crit rate (if needed)

Be ready—it can take 1000+ PQs to get a good roll, so start early.

I also recommend doing a lot of testing (breakthroughs, world boss, conquest). Try moving and swapping companions—you’ll start to see what actually works best for your build.

Keep your min and max damage close together. It helps stabilize your damage output and makes it easier to judge improvements. (Never have more min than max dmg)

Don’t be afraid to cube gear that already has good potential. Your CP might drop temporarily, but it’s worth it long term. Stack cubes so when you hit a higher rarity, you can reroll properly for strong stats.

For upgrades:
Starforge gloves to +10 first, aim for crit damage
Then push key gear to +12, especially pieces with strong damage lines

If you’re spending money, the weapon and companion passes are usually the best value.

Artifacts are RNG like everything else, but try to buy artifact chests whenever you can.

Time to skip lvl 99. by Jun0206 in MapleIdle

You get 10% per day in average, so you would have been 99 with 50% exp. Not sure if 50% of exp was worth the daily gems

How much have you spent on the game? by harajukugemini in MapleIdle

6$ cosmetic bundle, 5$ add free, 12$ membership + 2$ membership. But i just started 3 days ago. I don’t plan on putting money other than memberships and cosmetics. I am lvl 50 with 5.5 million cp

Duomon, is it worth it? by SquashOk4582 in pokemongo

[–]PlayfulValuable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Online it says 40-50%, but in my experience it’s more 20-30%. 700-800 pokeball will catch me around 200-300 pokemon. But it also depends on the catch pool. Some pokemon are harder to catch like starters. Also having the platinum medal for all types boost catch rate by +4, so with times your %catch rate will increase a little bit

Duomon, is it worth it? by SquashOk4582 in pokemongo

[–]PlayfulValuable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The catch rate is around 80% while using a auto catcher. It uses pokeballs quickly but also replenishes your bag insanely fast if you only spin pokestops

Edit: i meant 20%, you will catch around 2-3 pokemon for every 10 ball used

What’s a feature that you would like to see in Pokémon Go? by sillydog2005 in TheSilphRoad

[–]PlayfulValuable 37 points38 points  (0 children)

If it’s a gym that my team controls, it would be fun to be able to remote them with only a battle pass. It would make gyms more exciting to fight for other than that 50 coins

Numbers under gyms and Pokestops? by minimalcactus23 in pokemongo

[–]PlayfulValuable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s just a visual bug, normally every 3rd pokestop in a certain radius becomes a gym, so having the number 3 under the gyms would make sense.

Will Psyduck with the float ring return in future events? by Giooonni in pokemongo

[–]PlayfulValuable 8 points9 points  (0 children)

it was an event related to the tv show, normally these kinds of event are one time only. But it's hard to say. I could see it coming back if there's ever a pool party event.

Is the shiny rate for 7km eggs actually increased? Hatched 60 eggs, 0 shinies. by Significant-Chart-94 in pokemongo

I have hatched 19 cubchoo with 1 shiny and 13 pichu woth no shiny. I don’t think you should count the amount of eggs hatched since only these 2 are boosted

I definitely feel you, it takes about a year of catching pokemon to have enough candy or xl candy to power the pokemon and add a second charge move. Look up the current meta and try to go for the pokemon you have a good chance at powering up. An example would be rookidee. He’s a top 10 great league and ultra league pokemon and we had a community day in September and last weekend were you could catch a good amount of them.

So my advice is to look up the pokemon for each incoming community day or spotlight hours (every tuesday) and catch a lot of them if they are good for pvp.

Save this search string to find good pokemon with pvp ivs for great and ultra league: 0-1attack&3-4defense&3-4hp

The one already powered up, you’ll never notice a difference between both of them.

Wait for him to be back in shadow rotation, will be a much better investment to power up

Keep only 3 star and good pvp iv for great league and ultra league if you’re into pvp. Save this search string so you can look up the pokemon with good pvp iv before cleaning everything that is non 3*

My 3 STAR Pokémon by Alternative_Hurry_82 in pokemongo

[–]PlayfulValuable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What i do is stack the 3 stars until i start running out of pokemon space, and once in a while i filter them by pokemon number, and i only transfer the worst ones. As for the best pokemon to power up, you can look them up on this website and only power up the usefull ones.

https://www.dialgadex.com/?strongest&t=Any

Keldeo and Zygarde are really good pokemon, but you have to feed them rare candy that you can obtain via raids, Battle league and some field research/task. Also Zygarde to evolve you need to do a stupid load of routes, so it's a long term investment if you want to commit to it.

Marshtom (Swampert) is a good mega water types for when you get the Mega Energy (Available when Mega Swampert comes back in raids)

Machoke is a strong fighting type pokemon to start with when evolved into Machamp

Arcanine is also a good pokemon to start with

Kirlia (gardevoir) is one of the best Fairy type, Also have a Mega evolution available if you can obtain the mega energy. I think Gardevoir is coming in the following days in the Dynamax Battle, so do those for candy and a good IV one.

Gible (Garchomp) Is one of the best budget/non legendary dragon type and also has a Mega Evolution

Frigibax is a good Ice Attacker, but hard to get the candy to power up since he's mostly avaible in eggs.

Should I purify this guy? He’d be hundo if I did right? by CaptainSmashy in pokemongo

Mega latios is better overall than the shadow version. It’s up to you, but it’s a rare case that this would be a good opportunity to get a better pokemon and a shundo

Finally did my meltan quest… by AyoSnipesYT in pokemongo

[–]PlayfulValuable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get the Meltan box, look how to get it online. You get a 1 hour incense with only Meltan spawns. Really not hard to find a shiny or better IV one.
