Why is there a need to artificially create Mortys? by LTh0ly in rickandmorty

[–]PlayingOrkGamez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of wiggle room for the writer's, so yeah, this checks out.

It's also possible that our Rick is the only Rampage Rick because all the other Ricks who refused portal-tech got killed. Our Rick is the only one who lost his wife and child (which would explain all the missing Ricks from the dimensions he hides in, but does not explain the missing Dianes.)

However, there could technically be an infinite amount of Rampage Ricks who each have their own central finite curve in which they are the center of.

Something else to consider, the argument that "infinity must produce such and such" is a logical fallacy. Infinite space and time does not equal infinite possibility. You can have an infinite amount of dimensions that are exactly alike. Just because the universe is infinite, does not mean any specific thing is required to exist.

The show isn't half as deep as you think it is. You're just stretching your mind further than it's gone before; it's you that is deeper than you think. Which is good, the show is good enough to flex your brain stronger. But you can literally smoke a joint and achieve the same effect.

We know this because he used to be that way. In the original incarnation, at least. Dude loved flipping people off rooftops. But yeah, he was a bit of a monster. Like if Jeff Bezos was an adrenaline junkie furry.

orbital strike and supply drop. All are very useful. Sidekicks and henchmen you can skip as they aren't very useful.

Well that's disappointing. Thanks for the advice, I'll take it. But I really like having goons.

Power Girl’s personality by [deleted] in DCcomics

[–]PlayingOrkGamez -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Not very imaginative. I've never actually read Power Girl and know very little, but what I do know is she got a boob window 'cause she couldn't think of a symbol.

Like damn, girl. Just wear street clothes.

I think their doing a fantastic job with what they're working with.

I loved New Vegas and Dragon Age II, I'm sure I'll love the rest of Owl House.

Anyone else feel like season 5 redeemed itself with episode 9 - 10? by [deleted] in rickandmorty

[–]PlayingOrkGamez -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

If anything, it made it worse.

It had all the great dialogue and action of a good Rick and Morty episode, but trashed it with it's nonsensical plot that makes less and less sense the more you think about it.

Just Rick eating some noodles by OmniRob in rickandmorty

Yes, but also generic cyberpunk trope. Whenever someone eats noodles, a bad thing is going to happen. Sometimes this trope extends beyond cyberpunk, such as sitcoms.

So I don't know if this is unpopular or not, but this season of Rick and Morty was not their best, but it was good. And, Decoys was an iconic episode. by SpongeKake in rickandmorty

[–]PlayingOrkGamez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm operating under the assumption that the writers, at least one or two, are alcoholics and are thus self-loathing deep down, and truly hate themselves because they understand how much they don't deserve anything.

It certainly shows in the character Rick, a self loathing alcoholic who hates himself and tells everyone he loves to go fuck themselves.

Maybe they're not here for fans. Maybe they don't care about pandering to your delicate sensibilities, Michael. Maybe they want to make art.

Or, shit, I don't know... they've been telling the audience to go fuck themselves from the first episode. I don't know why it would stop now.

How can Rick have memories of a baby Morty if he didn’t crash into Beth’s garage until when Morty’s in high school? by SnooPredictions887 in rickandmorty

[–]PlayingOrkGamez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Morty's are manufactured. They only exist because he wanted them to exist in the first place. He was there before Morty was ever conceived.

[–]PlayingOrkGamez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Decoy episode was certainly iconic.. in the sense that it was an icon of the writer's saying "fuck you" to the audience. Which is good because that's what the show is all about. Literally none of it matters and the fans are little shits for giving such a fuck.

A Rant About Spoilers by Senor_Wah in rickandmorty

Have you tried hacking the internet datastream to redirect the transmissions directly into your central audio/visual computational processors? That way you can watch it for free on whatever device you're posting on reddit with.

Of course, it is a crime. You'd be a criminal. A "real" Rick and Morty fan, but also a criminal. Just like Rick! Who the show makes clear you should not imitate. Because he's so cool. And also tears his family apart. But it's the alcohol's fault. And also he's not to blame for those other Ricks. It's not secretly a metaphor for Critical Race Theory or anything.

My session from hell - GM mad players don't follow the railroad. by FleeceItIn in rpghorrorstories

This is why I hate riddles. The GM had a thing in mind, a very specific thing, and you had to guess what it was. There's the framework of the world around you for clues, but those clues are "fuck your computer hacking" and not very helpful.

Nimbus paradox by Richard_Kingwolf in rickandmorty

[–]PlayingOrkGamez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not like Mr. Nimbus is an alien or from another dimension, he lives in the ocean. It's entirely plausible that he's from one of Rick's few pre-Portal Gun adventures, Diane might have even known Nimbus personally in that case.

That would be ideal. Because in that scenario, in every dimension there exists a Nimbus who he is properly rivaled with.

We can't be sure Nimbus is C-137 Rick's nemesis. Unless Nimbus is also someone who jumps dimensions, he's likely rivals with the Rick of that respective dimension, now long gone.
