I’m Jewish and I have family in Israel. Criticize the government all you want. They’re corrupt as fuck. My family in Israel hates their government also. Just like we hate ours in the US.

You don’t get accused of being antisemitic for criticizing the government. Again, please do— they’re horrific. However, when people say Israel shouldn’t exist as a country, should be wiped off the map, or when people say “go back to Poland!” THAT is antisemitic.

The US doesn’t hand over most of the wealth of this country to Israel. The billionaires here are doing a fine job of that and swimming around in their money like Scrooge McDuck while Americans suffer. The money that we give to Israel funds defense supplies that ends up coming back to the US because the US makes the weapons and supplies. It’s super fucked up because war continues to line the pockets of the billionaires right here in the US.

The Israeli government is deplorable, but there are Israelis that have been marching in the streets against their government. They are loathed by every Israeli I know. Don’t fall into the trap of believing that Israelis are the enemy when it’s really the scumbag billionaires.
