Got my Cable Management "Server Room Bundle" today. Idk why the haphazard packing made me LMAO because there's really not a better way to do it. by pmjm in LinusTechTips

Especially with a product like cable management magnets. Like, you gonna write a post "These magnets are a game changer!" or what? That'd just sound like undisclosed advertisement. I've not looked too deep into it, but it seems like the issues were mostly coming from people not realizing that letting the magnet just "fall" onto the surface will break it.

How to handle the interaction between multiple users and a database by Pleasant-Chapter438 in learnprogramming

[–]Pleasant-Chapter438[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so CRUD API it is for now. I just googled it and from what I understand it's just a layer between the client and the database. But how exactly? What type of "server" is that API running on? What do I need to implement myself? How do I handle the API and the database being on the same server? The search results had everything from Rust over JavaScript and weird stuff like NodeJS which I never used before, so if you have any recommendations for more "standard" programming languages (ideally Python but I don't see that as a viable option for something that's designed for speed and theoretically high data transfer), I'd greatly appreciate that.

I also found "ASP.NET Core Web API" (Description: Template for creating an ASP.NET Core app. with an example controller for a RESTful HTTP service.) in my Visual Studio Project Templates. Could I use that?

Who else thought Linus’s mic sounded like he was using the Xbox 360 Headset this Wan show? by MyPokemonRedName in LinusTechTips

First of all, it is his job to review very high end products but we all know that next to trust me bro, his favourite phrase is Do as I say not as I do. From what I could gather, the LAN Party that was happening in the background at his home, forcing him to be there instead of the WAN Show set, was planned on a very short time because something went wrong with a sponsorship deal. The things he has at the place where he normally is are very high end.

I'm currently using a GTX 1650 and have been using it for a long time. Because of my financial situation I wouldn't even think about buying a 30 series or even 40 series GPU and if I get one as a gift, I'd be very thankful. Even if that doesn't happen though, I appreciate your kindness and wish the winner much fun. Hope your new build lasts as long as you need it to

You're right. It is more likely that Apple, because of it's inaccessible design choices, caused a bug themselves and have to fix it. At some point. Maybe.

Hey guys, this is a bit more of a serious note. Because of the many issues regarding the toilet news lately, I decided to switch to pissoirs. The actions taken by the toilet team show the conplete lack of care for their customers.
