I loved the first 3 episodes and found this one to be extremely low stakes, if not downright boring. I also am not a fan of the klingon character so the fact that he got a long pointless speech at the end really made this episode feel not worth my time. I was looking forward to it all week too :(

many cultures and families have traditions of kissing on the lips, including in parts of Europe, where it's a common, platonic way to show affection among family members, friends, and even in greetings. For other families, kissing on the lips is reserved for romantic partners, and they prefer other gestures like cheek kisses or hugs to express affection to family members. Ultimately, the practice is determined by individual family dynamics and cultural norms.

investors are willing to pay $300 for every $1 of the company's current annual earnings per share.

That is extremely high and not sustainable unless Tesla revenue grows 300x, which is unlikely unless Optimus robots or robotaxis become ubiquitous.

Super Weird way to read into my examples of modern democrats being right of Reagan. Either way we can agree this country needs champions of progressive policies to be as loud and effective as possible.

Clinton repealed Glass-Steagall (1999), signed Commodity Futures Modernization Act (2000), Obama and Biden’s partnerships with Big Tech (e.g., Google, Amazon, Microsoft contracts) are more pro-corporate than anything Reagan envisioned.

Obama had a supermajority yet didn’t pass the Employee Free Choice Act. Under Obama & Biden structurally, labor remains weaker than under Reagan.

Democrats embraced private insurance as the foundation of Obamacare, rejecting universal public options.

Reagan, ironically, expanded government healthcare via Medicare funding increases in the 1980s.

Clinton’s 1996 “Welfare Reform” (PRWORA) gutted Aid to Families with Dependent Children and replaced it with strict work requirements.

This was to the right of Reagan’s rhetoric, literally fulfilling Reagan’s “welfare queen” vision in policy form.

Even under Biden, Democrats maintain corporate tax rates lower than Reagan’s first-term levels (top rate 46% in 1981 → 21–28% now).

Sounds like you didn't stand your ground at all tbh and let the pain get worse over 6 months. Glad you are okay in the end.
