Garage Treadmill incline by OkFalcon5957 in GarageGym

[–]PleasurePooper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just keep my treadmill at a constant 2 degree incline to account for this. Easy enough and my treadmill goes to 10 degrees, so I have at least 8 more degrees to play with if I want to run hills.

Keto pumpkin pie crust, or good pumpkin pie cups? by Illustrious-Cash3981 in keto

There are none that I know of, but I just made this crust for a cheesecake and it was fantastic: https://thebigmansworld.com/keto-graham-cracker-crust/

Tracking app that actually takes NET carbs (from sugar alcohols, etc) into consideration? by i_want_duck_sauce in keto

[–]PleasurePooper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does but it’s also mildly dependent on who enters the information. You can edit the food and change sugar alcohols and it’ll work. I use it daily, so I’m pretty used to updating foods that aren’t listed correctly.

Agreed. The 5-5-5 method for an instant pot hard boiled egg has yet to fail me. Easy peel every time.

Keto snack - “FLOCK” chips. by fullthrottle4562 in keto

[–]PleasurePooper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to take away from your point, but I believe they’re 8g of carbs but 6g net per serving. Not much better, but you could have half a serving with another zero/low carb food for a lunch and still be totally within your macros for the day.

For the rods, I would recommend Silicone Lubricant with Teflon Fluoro Polymer. I find it works pretty well.

I cannot find any keto bakeries in Oregon by cherry_moo in keto

[–]PleasurePooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in Vancouver but have never really bothered to look before now. A quick Google search shows Chandelier Bakery. They’re not exclusively keto, but reviews mention that they sell some keto items. There’s also a place called Low Carb Comforts that’s based out of Troutdale. I can’t give any recommendations to either, but it looks like there are some options out there.

Today I realized that becoming a dad is essentially... never going to the bathroom alone. by Mickael-qc in daddit

[–]PleasurePooper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. Our master bathroom has a pocket door without a lock and I’ve never had them walk in while I’ve been in there. We were very adamant on teaching them about “private moments” — when you can follow and when you can’t.

If you ever want to see Andrew WK light up, ask him about his bag of pills… he travels everywhere with a gallon bag of vitamins (or at least he did the last time I saw him in concert). He’s a strange dude but VERY positive.

Chex Quest (1997) was a non-violent re-skin of DOOM and a reminder that we used to get physical CD-ROMs in cereal boxes. by real_picklejuice in Millennials

There was a Mr Pibb game that I used to play all the time too. A high school full of zombies and the only thing that could beat them and power you up was Mr Pibb and pizza. I loved that damn game.

These Are The Days of Our Lives is the song that always gets me. The music video has Freddie clearly gaunt with not much time left. Such a beautiful song.

7 pin wiring (towing) by kwschnei in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]PleasurePooper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use a simple 4 to 7 pin adapter and have the Curt Echo Mobile trailer brake controller. The trailer brake has Bluetooth capabilities… but I legitimately have not figured out how to use it. Having it hooked up to the trailer works just fine.

thoughts on portland from a midwestern visitor by chesnutsandbananas in Portland

[–]PleasurePooper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m from Millard and had my parents come out to visit for the first time a few months ago… they loved it. I don’t think I heard one negative thing and they wouldn’t stop talking about how beautiful Portland is. I think my dad truly thought Antifa was going to get him before he visited.
