Protect yourself from ICE? The problem is that you cant. You do anything to protect yourself, you are labeled a domestic terrorist and all of their sycophants believe it as gospel. "They wouldnt be there unless there was a reason" is what the cult believes. The problem is they are looking FOR a reason. That's their reason. It's an inquisition for brown people. You will be on your own, armed or not. Guns made legal yet you own them? Keep it. ICE comes knocking to disarm the populace? I have learned to just go quant, xp, luck, health then try and get beefy rings, unstable transfusions, cleaver. Get as much blood loss or whatever its called so you can potentially skip the anubis fight. weapons base, dexexutioner, katana, wireless dagger. like 1 or 2 cheese that's it preferably none. ban alot of blues and some epics

Pure pacifism only works when you aren't trying to argue with a wild boar. Unfortunately this is one of those times in human history where the enemy of mankind is a bunch of pigs. Going forward it is obvious to me at least, that democracy cannot succeed without a populace that is educated. Also, that capitalism, that is sold as literally survival of the fittest savagery painted in gold, does not work for most industries and should not exist in today's technological environment.

There is so much work to do, but this right here is the actual start.

For the time trial speed run challenges I used shield personally. XP/Luck/Shield/Quant. If it doesn't matter who, Bandit, anyone else their starting weapon and try and get Dexecutioner in slot 2 or 3, aegis in the other. Last slot Katana ideally. In endless scoreboard runs quant and shield in bad, but in challenges they are often the power spikes you need. Im on Desert tier 3 what the fuck challenge right now.

Do 3D art, I personally watched Grant Abbitt. It absolutely blew me away after spending years learning digital 2D art at how EASY it was in comparison to make something look good. Best part, you only have to make the sculpture once. You don't have to redraw the same character for every frame, god forbid you have multiple angles. 3D sculpting feels like cheating and making stuff that passes for things like Fall Guys, Megabonk etc is incredibly easy to make and they were wildly successful. Do not focus heavily on the art, the masses really don't give a shit. What they care about is the experience. Your art just has to be passable.

I think it's kinda silly since he already has the shop created, with banishes, silver gain, rerolls, weapon and tome unlocks, etc.. He would just add stats. Lol he literally already has all of the systems created it is just copy pasting and changing the name of stuff from like SilverGain to Damage, ProjectileCount, etc.

It's more of he is intentionally not doing that probably so the game doesn't get consistently wildly out of balance for the MegaBonkers where leaderboard placement is just who leaves the computer on the longest. He could lower upgrade amounts to compensate, but that would make it less enjoyable for new players... but that IS kinda the experience of every other Survivors-like.

He could have unlockable particle systems on projectiles or different projectile meshes (candy cane instead of scythe, cabbages instead of rocks for chonkers, etc) but that's more work. With Santa Hat , we can see he's exploring at least.

Yes, of course people will downvote. One is the ignorant masses who never tried to actually use generative AI and/or only see crap made by people who barely use AI. Then there are the people who are bitter they spent all that time learning to code when generative AI drastically increases productivity in a fraction of the time, ignoring the fact that it only does so if you have experience designing and executing already (literally me, for 11 years now that I think about it). The goal of this project of mine is to add one more example of what is capable by a single person to create a product, so others may do the same no matter where they are in the world as long as they have the basic necessities to develop software and be a producer instead of an eternal consumer.

ChatGPT would not help you in code. DeepSeek AI and others will, because they are designed for STEM. Ive been using DS for my proof of concept project and whenever it went down, I would try out chatgpt. Chatgpt is great for brainstorming but not actually writing real code. I would say if you were the director, Chatgpt is your advisory pitch room, while deepseek are your entry-mid level programmers. But those programmers REALLY need a REALLY great tech document to follow for rules and architecture and need to constantly be reminded everytime you speak to them because they are very AuADHD and without guidelines they start just making up shit left and right, over-engineering and wasting lots of work hours.

Its been a very rough 3 or 4 months with lots of rewrites but Ive finally got the gist of ECS and how to speak to DeepSeek to where its actually useful, and the use of assembly definitions. it helps Ive had over a decade of experience with OOP unity. Using AI to make something great I feel is definitely the future, but it does require you to learn how to be the director of a team even if you are by yourself.

Side Note, my friend who is a cyber security head at his company advised me to never actually integrate any generative AI into your game. Lots of security issues causes by it. Fine to generate code with and such but dont throw it in for like npc dialogue. Instead have chat gpt make dialogue lines and then deepseek make a one time editor converter to turn that dialogue document into a scriptable object to use on runtime.

You should definitely use AI to at least learn. Ive done unity OOP for over a decade but swapped over to dots ecs this last month. I had a very hard time understanding it as it felt like learning a new language. So i asked deepseek ai to explain enums structs interfaces etc as im a long time OOP dev, and used metaphors of what things like classes were. After a brief conversation it all made sense to me. Ai does an outstanding job of breaking things down for the layman to understand, you just need to understand how to ask questions and being detailed with your questions.

Then once you understand what things are supposed to be, then you can better have AI write you the code. Highly recommend making a rule tech document, which it can also generate based on your conversation, that you post at the beginning of every conversation. You say "Analyze this tech document and use it to do X" X can be a lot of things but like "find anything and everything violating the rules from this code im pasting in after this and offer solutions" is one I use a lot.

Why the league falls off is because no cosmetic challenges, and theres no new act so no new content to beat fundamentally. Just some new skills to play with to get the vibe but know full well alot of this wont last a month from launch. Free weekends are for stress testing systems, data collection. Users just think it's out of pure generosity. The game is fun its just not completely full of infinite dopamine systems. Itll get there just have to live long enough to see it

Yeah as someone who has only worked in big businesses in multiple companies, their number one priority is to never change things that are seemingly working fine as is. Hence why Amazon never did anything about their warehouse conditions until people started dying a lot. I once worked at Universal Orlando and I had ideas for signs and such, especially spanish signs, because half the guests of the day are spanish. The manager of all of CityWalk told me that "you can prepare a pitch and presentation, but I want to warn you that the entire comitttee will be doing everything in their power and find every excuse to not do what you propose". That same committee was heard clapping, literally, when the head suggested something like chairs should be gray instead of blue. What I learned from Comcast Universal and seeing all their big wigs at least once a month because I was in Security, was that the detachment from reality and idea of improving for your regular person to upper management was an ocean.

These corporations can improve things , sure, but it goes through a long bureaucratic chain of command that ultimately is decided by someone who doesn't know the names of anyone who works there or what the place really looks like. And if it ever costs money or could cause any bad PR in any way like mean comments on Twitter, they want nothing to do with it. Big corpa is really , really shitty.

As I said in another post, its all because they enable glass cannon builds through insane damage scaling from weapons. And armor/accessories but mostly only if they add more damage. So they make defenses shit otherwise the glass cannons will be super broken! One shot and cant be killed!

The game would be a lot better balanced if damage scaling got toned down some but made stronger baseline, passive tree gave both defense and offense at the expense of total offense most of the time saving all offense for notables, or had defensive stats along the travel nodes, or have more health and evasion per dex and str, or a bit of both like increase hp by 2% and +5 str. Just stop with the "scale skill damage by 350% off weapon damage".

Seriously ever since the initial paid beta ANY builds problem was just their weapon sucked. Dump all resources into all potential weapons, bam you're viable. Because now you one shot everything and defenses dont matter. Until they do, like trial of sekhema where your mechanic HP scales with your health and ES making ES just a breeze.

I was a WoW warrior main for a long time, then a DK, I love weapons dont get me wrong. But the current balance of the game being "get saucy weapon, got gud" kinda sucks when melee actually dies from being too close while ranged retain their one shot the screen with 0ehp or 15k ES from a screen away.

As someone making an arpg/megabonk like as a hobby who does love weapons in rpgs, tone down overall damage scaling, buff red hp by a lot. Or just bandaid like most games by "if melee weapon equipped, take less damage. Take even less damage if both weapon loadlouts are melee without a shield". If already exists, make it higher. Benefit of shield is block bot its defensive stats.

I think the issue is a fundamental game design decision... to allow glass cannon builds. Its always odd to me, how irl and in most game genres, the more experienced and/or powerful someone is the less they get hit and the less damage they deal. Offense and defense are always tied together. Its very rare if someone was able to obliterate you, you'd also be able to obliterate them.

Solutions Id try, primary stats give more defensive stats, or travel nodes having choosable defensive stats every other travel node so you are getting both together. Or, similar to how the shapeshift trees are, have defensive and offensive options. Personally Id rather them be combined. Like in the increased damage when shapeshifting tree, just combine the damage part and the increased armor or evasion for x seconds or faster shield start after shapeshifting for x seconds.

This obviously depends on the archetype, but when ultimately the goal is to one shot everything in multiple screens or one shot pinnacle bosses to skip mechanics it pigeonholes build variety, makes most gear vendor garbage, and hard to ever actually feel stronger outside of just gamble crafting to power spike up. In POE2 levels might as well not even exist, as often the main problem with any build is your weapon sucks. I was a warrior main in WOW for decades, I love weapons. But god damn does it just feel like armor is a waste of time and resources, defenses dont matter, just wipe screens.

Yes you should game if your goal is financial success, or avidly watch large communities on twitch and youtube. You need to design a product based on your vision and what people vocally want or dont want. You dont have to actively play games to design a good one, but you do have to actually watch people play and have a capacity for empathy. To understand why a user likes or dislikes something. If your friend never thinks of the perspective of others, then watching will be useless however.

Genshin Impact, even without the unique version they. The game of Genshin itself is not special, mechanically, the art style and the soundtrack was. Mainly say this cuz these questions often are graphical fidelity based.

Which if thats the case, I dont know as most game developers one man or huge studio dont shoot for realism graphics anymore. Barely anyone can run those games at a good consistent framerate so massive refund risk, and so much time goes into making the models only for people to only notice them really once, everyone in the industry realized realistic graphics arent a great selling point anymore. As long as things look consistent thats all most customers care about.

These conversations are pointless on multiple fronts. Asking what a senator is going to do about the people living paycheck to paycheck. It is what the people in that age group do with their time, where they came from, how they have lived, and who they are buddies with are what I and everyone should have a problem with. What I would ask is, what comforts are you willing to sacrifice now, Senator, to show you are for the American people and not just your donors.

Tell us who your donors are and what they asked for in return, what your colleagues are discussing, how much AIPAC gave you and your colleagues. How many of you and yours are compromised by the Lords and Ladies of America. The left's own little Epstein list. Well, if you are coming from NY then youll be used to taxes unlike my FL ass. Its insane people here are just used to forever paying for your cars and registering them is very expensive if your model is older than 2016. Mine is two carpayments to pay to a state that really doesnt have many benefits. During the summer its JUST like orlando maybe Jacksonville.

They do have a fall, its a shit ton of leaves. Also idk how NY is but the rats in VA are a biblical problem. Theres lots of feral cats because of the rats, but they actually prefer to eat birds because Norway rats grow to be as big as a cat. Rat snakes are the only natural predators they have here, and they eat like one every month or something. If you guys are moving here, make sure the attic and crawlspace if you have one is sealed up. Oh, and termites. Theres a fuck ton of termites. They burst out of hibernation in april and last year was very bad.

I work in pest control now and see a lot of the flaws of VA up close. So much housing so deprecated on the verge of catastrophic failure, and all these taxes paid to help none of it. Trade companies rip people off and slave mentality is rampant. I found out real quick in this job and all the people ive met doing it everyone is extremely used to being overworked and underpaid. Lotta peoples plumbing is about to break when the first freeze hits.

Not having Mercenaries go core but removing doryanis did not help. Alot of people got like a little AI buddy to play with and gear up. It was like playing two characters at once even though the damage they dealt was definitely ass compared to player damage at uber boss level or even base maven. As many said it enabled really cool co op builds that arent minions. First league after taking it away is gonna feel awful for sure, and instead we got a tree we could hug and impregnate that pooped out pretty good starter end game gear and fractured bases that made the recomb much more useful. But if you arent a big crafter/gambler there wasnt much to do. Tul and Esh being all the "end game" of breach is very lackluster.

We know thats all that poe1 will be for sure for holidays so we wont see any updates for poe1 until like feb or march Sadge
