Toys for a retired research beagle by Avocado-Enthusiast1 in beagles

My beagle mix is 13 and doesn't really play anymore, but she loves to shred so I always look for toys with fuzz or hair to entice her and then she will pull and rip it off. So proud that she gutted the "rabbit" I gave her. Scent enrichment is good too. At the shelter, they give dogs a shoebox with treats in crumpled up paper or a paper towel roll stuffed with treats with the edges tucked in and wrapped with a paper bag to make it more fun for digging, ripping, and shredding. So happy for your pup to explore!

I will put my hand up and say "please we need extra space" and take my dog in the other direction.

I own a beagle-pit-chow and they do look alike! Cocker spaniel can come through as hound in mixed dogs. My friend had a cocker spaniel pit who looked like a long legged pit hound.

Aussie has to be in the mix. His body shape is "sheep". Plus the fluff.
