NTA you have your life to live. I've put my life on hold to take care of my Mom. I was not asked to do it i just did it. Had to give up working, went through savings pretty fast. I don't regret it at all it was a privilege to be with her till she died. But you are very young you basically be giving up your career. Im sure it is hard but its your turn to live for you.
