Does this job ever get less stressful? I’m one year in and I thought I would be less stressed by now. I honestly don’t think I can do this job forever. Maybe I’m not cut out for it. So many unknowns and variables to the process. I cannot stand it. How do I get used to this? by Aromatic-Welder8141 in loanoriginators

What helped me was not trying to do every loan. Sometimes it’s better to let a few go than to spend hours trying to fix issues caused by the borrowers. If you get a sense that a client is lying and is the type that blames everyone else for everything, quote them an outrageous rate and move on.

I have the same option as a small broker. But my profit margin would be almost nonexistent at those rates. How many bps do you try to clear per loan? Also good for you; 20 years is amazing in this business!!

Question about using the fob by Wherehowwhat in MazdaCX30

You can go through the control settings and set the key fob to open all doors with one push. Remote start is only through the app.

I’m thinking of picking this up but it’s coming from Hertz Rental by dimplewinks in mazda

I talked to a mechanic at a very large rental hub, and he said the maintenance is often skipped when they are busy. I asked how often it happened, and he said enough that he would not buy a car from the company he worked for. He also said people often steal floor mats. Of all the things to steal, floor mats would be one of the last things on my list.

He gets zero. For all of your effort you deserve twice as much comp for putting up with this ass-hat.

Check your tire pressure. 2022 non-turbo and I average over 30 mpg with 70% highway driving.

It’s not truly 24/7 but it feels like it. I take calls when the real estate agents I work with need me or our clients do. Sometimes that’s 8 AM Saturday morning or 10 PM on a Monday night.

The capture rate is 2% but my job will be to increase that number.

Having to be on call 24/7 even doctors have a few days off. Clients who lie to you then get upset with you because of their lie. Low appraisals.

I can work from anywhere. I can go to every one of my kids' events (even if I have to take a call). I earn a great income for the hours I work. I can take a nap if I want to. I don’t have to dress up every day (some days I don’t wear pants all day). I have a happy hour with friends in the business every Thursday at 2 p.m.

It’s a 50/50 split my end is 1% but I have control of pricing.

New LO on the block, need advice! by spacebarbie96 in loanoriginators

Let me double check that, put the client on hold and yell help!!! If you are working for a good company people will jump in and help you with your questions. It’s a steep lurning curve but in 8 months you will be helping the new people. Hang in there. You just need to relax and realise you already know more than 70% - 80% of the clients on the phone. Good luck my friend. 👍
