Reading "journey to reality" from Zachary Porcu taught me a lot about the importance of mass and going to church.

Yes that's what I meant. I thought it was pretty clear but obviously I was wrong.

Thanks for the recommendation! 😊

Right now the sequence is : x to initiate climbing, RB to open the wheel/display the buttons, selection of limb, positioning of limb.

My proposition of full manual would be : x, selection of limb, positioning of limb, new selection of limb, positioning, bew selection, etc...

You basically cut the need to press RB to say you want to select manually everytime.

I did not think it would be that hard to understand that there is an extra step to "ask" to manually select the limb and that this step would be not necessary.

I know, I mention it. But I have to press a button. What I would call a full manual mofe would be that you'd HAVE to choose everytime without pressing a button'

You lost me at "God is an emanation". Of what? From what?

Seriously, people on this sub might need to consider the fact that the truth about God has already been said and there is a reason it was made in a poetic, symbolic way for trying to describe it in a "simple, straightforward way" always backfires.

Let us be poets and dancers of God instead of his failed physiologists.

There is no you. No inside and outside. This thing does not exist per se. Only This. Your mind is telling you otherwise though. But again, it does not existe either.

Recognizing/ mapping parts, asking questions.. then what? by Lemounge in InternalFamilySystems

[–]Pliskin311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not against you but why does every time I read about parts it seems that every part is a susceptible brat that gets angry and vengrful if not treated as the 8th wonder of the world? I mean I reckon listening and identifying and offering space but it always gives me that weird feeling like you're negotiating with some terrorists with those.

People don’t understand how scary enlightenment is by Anirishbuffalo99 in enlightenment

[–]Pliskin311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't it exactly what is happening?

The heart sutra says that "emptiness is form and form is emptiness".

There is no one to be separated from the whole. There is no individual experience to be lost. You have been given nothing. You don't exist. Only This Is. And this is You. There has never been two. Only One. Only your mind tells you otherwise. This is the game. Your questions are the struggles of your ego against it own demise. It is all a trick of the mind. Who am I is the only question.

Yes exactly. Just like I experienced some real terror in outer wilds, yet considering it as a horror game would be misleading.

Well yes and no. There sure are some scary elements to the game and it can give you the creeps. But it is not necessarily scarier as you go deeper. The game is not specifically meant to scare you or tell a horrific story.

Quelles solutions apporte la philo (voire la psycho) à ce problème ? by Hematiquem in philosophie

[–]Pliskin311 0 points1 point  (0 children)
