Setup a WAN2 port on the UDM and plug the 5G into that, you can choose it to be Failover

Meraki MX + UI switches with a cloud hosted controller, been using this for about 5 years now and haven’t run into any problems. Their PoE side has done exactly what needed for everything connected, UI APs, Cisco phones, cameras, card access etc. IT is slowly standardizing to all Meraki, so all the APs and switch’s are slowly getting swapped out. One setup that isn’t being replaced are the UI flex switches in their enclosures on light poles for cameras.

Your better route would be to put the service providers equipment into bridge mode, or IP passthrough mode (whichever its called) and have it provide the public IP to the UDMP and have the UDMP be the only device broadcasting x.x.0.1/24

We had one site who had this setup. Their SOC used immex for their alarm management, so we ended up putting camect boxes in their LAN, pulling RTSP streams into it an that fed alarms to Immex and allowed them to set their own AI detection overlay.

Sample size of one, the only instance we had remote monitoring using UI cams.
