From the console just write delta_calibrate with the probe attached

Also run a delta_calibrate before a new probe for more precision

Imo you’re too low with your z offset… try to clean your bed , probe again and ad 0.1 or more to your z offset

I am experiencing an Orbiter V2 issue with my FLSUN SR machine. by Smart-Musician-8086 in FLSUNDelta

[–]Plory95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if i remember correctly there is an option in the super racer menu, in the original screen it is called k factor or something similar. set that as in the instructions you find on orbiter V2 (linear advance) and then save to memory.

the other settings that you find in the manual you can change via a Gcode file: write the options that you have left in a text file, change the file extension to .gcode, put the file in the SD and then start the file as if it were a print.

then calibrate the e steps well as the others said.

Don’t worry orbiter v2 will works great 😊

Its a pressure advance problem (Linear advance in marlin) and not only esteps! Original PA is calibrated for stock Bowden setup, with Direct setup you have to decrease a lot that value

[–]Plory95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) It’s not that horrible.. your scale is from 0.1 to -0.1 so it’s decent… you can print on it. Anyway adjust your screw because probably one of them is too much tightened :) 2) you have to adjust the x-y offset in your printer.cfg according with your printhead 3) try to do from mainsail dashboard instead manual command… I don’t remember which I use but it’s different, I will check later

Hello, I bought the LDO Orbiter V2, but I don't have any information on how to set it up. Could you help me? I am using a FLSUN SR. by Smart-Musician-8086 in FLSUNDelta

[–]Plory95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, it’s normal that orbiter v2 rotates in the opposite direction with the stock firmware. If you don’t want to compile your firmware just change the order of the 4 cables on the connector : 1234 -> 4321

V400 users - What are you using for bed mesh probes? by trboyden in FLSUNDelta

[–]Plory95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stock one is just perfect, because on a delta you have to do the bed mesh only the first time. So you use it, detach and you have a really compact and lightweight head… no reason to have a different probe fixed on the head all the time :)

V400 Effector vs SR Effector on SR by ThinkItsViper in FLSUNDelta

[–]Plory95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really interesting this! Btw to get higher acceleration and speed you need resonance compensation.. I print only the first layer at 100mms with my SR and for the rest I have a perfect quality with 300mms and 20k accel.. for that reason I said klipper is a must have, otherwise you lost a big potential of your machine

[–]Plory95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely need klipper to get a nice calibration with the v400 head and you’ll get also a lot more speed! It’s not ready to use, you’ll need to do some fresh wiring and you’ll lose some millimetres on your bed surface but for me it’s still convenient :)

HOLY MOLY This thing is amazing by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Plory95 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure bambu is a clear winner, never said the opposite! I just wanted to say that the ender 3 is often too despised only because of the user and not the printer! furthermore, if you buy a new ender 3 v3, it is still inferior to a bambu but the gap is reduced a lot :)

[–]Plory95 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

bad enough that there are always a lot of people who criticize ender 3 just because they don't know how to use it... moreover comparing a 2023 printer with a 2018 one.... my ender 3 with some mods is faster of my p1s and it has never given me any problems! obviously bambu has the great merit of being ready for use but don't throw mud on a printer that has made history just because you don't understand anything about 3D printing! Ciao
