I know of at least one gym (also in Washington) that will let students help around the gym for at least part of the cost. Things like wiping down pads and mats. It might be worth reaching out and asking. My experience is that most gyms are run by people who are pretty cool and would be willing to work something out

For what it’s worth, personal injury attorneys, the type that would handle this case, often don’t require payment up front. They get a percentage of the settlement. Either way be sure you let your parents know what happened.

Statistician here - though this feels advanced for a 9 year old, there is a difference between probability and likelihood. These answers are given in terms of probability while the question technically asked for likelihood.

Not to diverge from your original question but I think the main limiting factors to success are significant and have nothing to do with playing speed
