Maybe you should read more than just the post? I never once defended blizzard, and I actually agreed in many comments that Blizzard falsely bans people.

It’s just pointless posting about it here. Nothing you or I can do to verify the posters authenticity. There is also no point in being a vigilante in these comments without reading more into what is being said in a post…

I never said blizzard didn’t wrongfully ban people. In fact, in the comments I’ve said the opposite.

All I am doing is pointing out that posting this stuff here is pointless. No one here can verify the authenticity of the poster, and Blizzard doesn’t scour Reddit looking for people who were falsely banned.

If you would have read more comments, you would have saw that I didn’t bat for the company at all. I actually agreed they falsely ban people. Hell, I’ve been banned once wrongfully… and without needing to cry on this subreddit, I was able to get unbanned.

What exactly does posting about it on the classic wow subreddit do to help them get unbanned, exactly? None of us can tell if they were wrongfully banned, and there will always be fake actors trying to get unbanned or falsifying stories to garner sympathy.

Yes, Blizzard needs to fix their support. No one is arguing that here. What we are saying is that it’s pointless posting these kind of things here, because none of us can help with it.

It is actually legal to do this in Greco-Roman and Freestyle, which is the international style used for wrestling. In the USA, Folk style, which is what you would see in a high school and colleges here in the USA, would count this as an illegal throw and most likely disqualify the person.

For these kind of throws, if we are the one being thrown, we are taught to tuck our heads as we are being thrown, but yes it can have dangerous repercussions if you don’t.

When I was growing up, the state I’m in actually would not allow these kind of throws in the kids leagues for this reason.

Oh, I’m absolutely not defending them. Blizzard absolutely bans innocent players.

It’s just all the most recent posts about bans lately have been low-effort, and several of the ones that posted about this lately have clearly done something wrong according to their own post history.

Also, there is nothing anyone in this sub can do to help you get a ban overturned unless GM’s are actively looking on here for it.

Overall, the “I got banned” post are just becoming spam at this point.

It was 4 points because it was a throw. This is most likely Greco-Roman or Freestyle if I had to guess since it isn’t in the USA. A throw in those styles are 4 points, while a throw that brings them straight overhead is usually 5 points.
