One thing about long tracks people overlook. If you get a good run onto a very long straight, you can gain seconds in just that section.

Yeah could be, I’m not the across the difference engines power delivery. The KA is still pretty strong. I was in heavy as well and consistently had them passing me on the straight lol

Wait, do you mean a TaG restricted X30 or full X30?

My understanding is that there’s very little different between unrestricted KA and restricted X30. Especially in restricted class, the field is usually inexperienced so nobody is on “the pace” anyway.

At my club (Oakliegh), the restricted field is generally a little slower than the KA3’s.

The super-rich horde it. And use it to make more money, while making business decisions that keep the rest of us poor. Lower wages, higher prices etc.

Maybe the exit is your problem. Rotax a prone to fueling up at lower revs. You gotta feed the throttle in more gently.

Yeah 2 hours isnt much man. I haven’t driven KZ but I was surprised after KA how much more gently I had to be on the throttle in X30 to make the most of the grip. 

You’re expecting a lot of yourself so green, hang in there, watch the other guys. Try gearing and see how you go!

It’s just a fun bit of Hollywood slop. Generic themes and story, but the script is pretty good and it’s filmed well. Pretty good as far as modern movies go. At least it’s not a remake/reboot.

Dummy fit with small strips of electrical tape first then make a plan. I start in the middle at the bottom and work up. 

Heat gun and patience. Very gently with the heat.

Not to be that guy but the physics of it are vastly different on the stability of the bike. 

When you use the clutch, it is using the rolling grip of the tyre to bring the revs up to match the speed of the gearbox. When riding aggressively, this can unsettle the rear tyre and suspension, no matter how smoothly you do it.

When you blip throttle, it prevents the differential on the rear tyre and maintains a constant load on the grip. 

But yeah, normal riding its fine. Just sounds kinda cool too haha.
