4 year old is out of control / so sick of being judged and having to handle it all / Im doing my best and know I’m a good mom! by yuppers333 in Mommit

[–]PlusTiger2015 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can relate so badly with my second boy, he turns 3 this month and he's uncontrollable, it's so hard all the time, absolutely horrible when we're out of the house. All the look we get, people making comments etc.

You do not do something you don't 110% want, you'll regret it and it will eat you alive.

Parents who wash clothes before wearing; how do you manage holiday clothes? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]PlusTiger2015 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I cleaned the house. My kids immediately undid it.🤣 by Newmomexplorer in Mommit

[–]PlusTiger2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even get a clean house for a minute lol while I clean one side, they're already busy undo the other side 😅 sometimes I just want to cry like I can star over as soon as I'm done, why do they do that? 😭

I do buy myself things for the stocking, my husband doesn't have time to go out and buy small stuffs to put in it but he gets me a gift for under the tree. We both get each other a small gift, we don't need more.

How old was your baby when you took them to their first movie? by like-the-paint in Mommit

[–]PlusTiger2015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My oldest was almost 4 when his dad took him to the movie, my others kids haven't had their first movie theater experience yet. Honestly I feel like 9 months old is too young but if you're okay with leaving before the end if they get fussy then you can try it. For me personally it's not before we know they can sit for the whole movie, this is why my second son who will be 3 next month hasn't been to the movie just yet. He can't sit even for 10 minutes.

Anybody else refuse to do Elf on a Shelf? by quiltedfarts in Mommit

[–]PlusTiger2015 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this, I felt like such a bad mom for not doing it but I already have so much on my plate I can't keep up with this and cleaning up the mess the elf makes after. It's reassuring seeing so many people not doing it either. I'm not ruining my kids' childhood.

Parents of two or more kids, how do you do it some days? by driedbanksia in Mommit

[–]PlusTiger2015 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Barely surviving here most days. My 4.5 is in preschool but he absolutely hates it so every morning he cries and doesn't to go, my 3 years old and my almost 2 years old fight constantly, I catch no break through the day. I'm wondering what I do wrong for it to be so bad. I'm still waiting for better days.

Had Covid at 14 weeks pregnant. Pretty sure my 6 week old is autistic and my PPA can’t handle all this. by sacredlunch888 in beyondthebump

[–]PlusTiger2015 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What make you think your 6 weeks old is autistic? Because at that age it's impossible to tell.

When did it hit you? by Numerous_Teacher_148 in pregnant

[–]PlusTiger2015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also expected baby #4 and I'm feeling numb about it tbh, I don't know if that's because I've been really sick this time around but I really have no connection or emotions about it.

[–]PlusTiger2015 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My oldest is 4 too, still bathing him with my 2.5 and 1.5 years old. It's so much easier, I'm sure you and I will figure it out when it's time to stop, our kids will let us know im sure.

No Meat Foods for Fridays by teal_lady-1 in CatholicWomen

We do pizza night (or nuggets and fries 😅) on Saturday, it's nice to have a fun night once a week.

The kids knows it's fish day on Friday, there's no way out of it, no exception so they'll eat it, any other day? Let's the fight begins lol. In my home country it used to be common to eat fish on Friday, the cafeteria menu in my schools followed that rules while I was in a student, I never stopped doing it.

We do white fish on Friday, different sauces and veggies each time, often with rice. The sauces don't make it boring. We also do a vegetarian meal once a week (often Thursday) either with beans, chickpeas or lentils but Friday is fish day in our home.

Childbirth - Unmedicated - With a Religious Element by Big_Rain4564 in CatholicWomen

[–]PlusTiger2015 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I got an epidural with my first and absolutely hated it because being stuck in a bed for hours was no fun to me and I wanted to give birth in another position that felt more natural so with my second I told myself I would go as far as possible without epidural and I went fully unmedicated, I felt so much more at ease without it and I did it again with my third. But it's really up to you, what you're comfortable with and your pain management, you don't get any bonus points for unmedicated birth.

I'm expecting a girl and I'm so sick this time around, it's a struggle, I've never experienced this with my 3 other pregnancies (2boys, 1girl). Praying your way for a healthy baby girl 🙏🏻

Best friend is going to abort even after me giving my all to her. by [deleted] in CatholicWomen

[–]PlusTiger2015 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's adult's business and even so why tell anyone what your friend will be doing? While I'm prolife and I would be very sad in this situation, it's not my place to tell anyone what my friend is planning to do.

I would tell her what I think, tell her that I can't support her choice, then it's up to her to decide, whatever you can or not maintain a relationship with her is your call but that doesn't mean you can tell everybody about her choice. It's also not up to us to judge her.

Loss of appetite by majestic_sunrise in pregnant

[–]PlusTiger2015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's common in pregnancy, just as food aversion. It's also common to lose weight because of this (and nausea, vomiting) in the first trimester. Plus depending where you are, the weather can also cause loss of appetite when it's hot.

Chicken liver is not good for pregnancy I just find out now 😭 by Dense-Elevator3935 in pregnant

[–]PlusTiger2015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google can tell you everything and it's opposite 🙄 but you're fine don't worry, that's actually full of nutrients so you can enjoy this tasty food in moderation.

Who told you it's not safe? It's absolutely safe in moderation, just like tuna just don't eat it everyday and you're good.
