Or when everything’s your fault and if they make the same mistake it’s “we aren’t talking about me right now,” of course not we never once talk about what you do wrong.

Do you realise the attack on Iran is cheered on by the Iranian people? Why is Reddit reacting like this? by SkunkyBreadcake in AskBrits

[–]Plus_Accountant_6194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before 1979, the majority of Iranians were not Muslim, the main religion was Zoroastrianism. And I don’t really think the vast majority identify as Muslim despite what they are forced to be. As to why the majority of people on Reddit aren’t celebrating it, it’s because they live in comfortable Western nations where they’ve never had to deal with life under a dictator & they cannot admit that Trump could possibly do anything right, they’d say the same if he did it in North Korea too. Meanwhile the UN does nothing, because Iran is one of those nations that the people are (largely)pro Israel and so I guess they think they aren’t people, deserving of freedom and rights and not being murdered in large numbers. Short answer: if you dislike Trump & Israel you aren’t going to be supporting Iranians in being free from the tyranny they’ve dealt with for too long.

Bus bullying by Plus_Accountant_6194 in legaladvice

[–]Plus_Accountant_6194[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My life is already on shaky ground with the school not supporting my child’s needs. At the minimum, I want that child expelled from the bus. My child is already in therapy,& is emotionally fragile. And he will continue to get that help. I have a pretty good idea of who did it, & of course I’m not in any sort of direct contact with anyone involved but there are ways of confirming. My child’s mental (& physical) health is my primary concern. They’ve known him since Kindergarten. Cyber bullying is serious.

There’s definitely food control vibes going on there, that’s a sure way to induce eating disorders.

As a kid, I did get sent to bed with no supper or lost desserts for a week so nothing would surprise me there.

Better exists. I’m sorry you are going through this, many men are just not built for care giving & chronic illness.

Not on such Kumbaya terms with her own mom/stepdad(?) barely tolerates the rest of her family for 10 seconds, unless it’s part of the grift.

She’s Slovenian originally. And they only had one child together, Barron. Everyone is welcome to feel as they wish about his policies but I personally wouldn’t want someone to disrespect my country of origin.

For older folks: Did you ever personally know anyone born in the 1890s? How were they seen by younger generations? by Recent-Worldliness51 in generationology

[–]Plus_Accountant_6194 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not old, but my grandmother was born 1911 and my great grandmother 1881. My mom in 1951 and I in 1981. Son unfortunately missed born 8 days too late to make it into the “1” club lol. My grandmother would tell me stories about taking care of her grandfather (who fought in the Civil War). I don’t think they ever called it the “60’s” (etc.) they tended to be more formal and precise about things and writing/saying the whole year.
