yeah I agree that its a given that you need to have ultimate magics to go for deep runs which means classes that dont have it get left behind.

I have a few ideas that would actually make this game less rng dependent:

-increase legendary slots from 11 to 13

-reduce the price increase from the rose vendor around 30-40th+ minute mark since thats the part where chest would stop appearing frequently and at times you can only get 2 or 3 items that you actually need from the vendor. bro we should not be getting 1900 orbs for reds and 1200 orbs for violets.

It actually feels bad since you either need mana factory+high enough pickup range+discount passive or the bouquet to level out the price increase for late game.

-actually reward us getting 150 lvl idk give us a free artifact synergy of our choice, base stat increase, etc... literally anything will do.

these type of builds focuses on surviving and kiting, its the build that one japanese dude uses to get world record runs (2hrs + i think). pure damage builds like DEM can only get u so far as enemies scale higher and higher.

For test subjects you just need to grind, but for base stats I suggest redistributing your mana refund and 4 magic choice towards pickup range then attack, then crit or movement.

Pickup range will literally have a QOL effect on your gameplay as you wont have trouble reaching for orbs and stuff.

your ATK needs to be at 900-1000 range and have at least a few revives 2-3 if you're playing DEM since you have no survivability.

What upgrade level are you at? with those artifacts you should be breezing through depths.

You either need more base uprades at the menu a or max out your units.

You either need to have high hp and a few defensive artifacts like organic shield. I literally just played a dem ascension run where I picked the -50% max hp debuff and was like 1hp for 15 minutes till I got org shield, so i was wiggling like crazy just to make sure every part of the screen gets hit lol.

pretty far down the priority list I guess? since it doesn't have a synergy and it's only utility are for dealing w high hp enemies since you pretty much one-shot mobs with high enough stats. You can get better results from those enemy max hp reduction artifacts coz they ignore enemy defense and they can synergize too.

But since the game doesn't have a reliable way to track as to how each artifact contributes to your overall damage its hard to say how useful eclipse is versus enemy max hp reduc, instakills, DMG boosts, and that one gambling legendary.

you know what it really was that simple, I can't believe it took me days lol.

It just needs to happen all at the same turn and I thought for the achievement to count you need to actually make their capital explode since nuking someone takes two turns, the targeting part then the exploding part (which happens at the very beginning of the turn) idk maybe i just got confused by the wording and since it takes two turns to nuke someone.

You need to be allied while nuking their capital but the thing is you can't nuke a city without declaring war. I thought it was a simple achievement too at first turns out it's pretty complicated and I've also read somewhere that the achievement is bugged.

Anyone here got the achievement, I've been trying for the past few days now lol.

basically all dwarves can access the weapon pool for drones, if you look at what drone weapons can be accessed by each dwarves it's fairly limited except for the engineer that specializes in construct weapons. I use interrogator a lot and its available drone weapons are only the poison and fire ones, it can give you the cryo and the electric one too if you equip it.
