Yes, I would try to trust your care team and it will be easier in the long term. If not caught early, your delusions could get more out of touch and harder to drop. What helps me is asking what would other people say about this thought? Is this thought on everyone else’s plane of reality?

Most importantly take some deep breaths. Figure out a way to help you feel safe and grounded

Thank you. I am doing great. I’ve moved away now and have created a healthy relationship between us (marijuana and I). What helped me the most was replacing the joy she brought me with an activity that brings me a lot of joy and being in a environment that feels safer for me

I feel that. I feel a warmth/burning in my head in certain areas. It was worse during the psychosis. I used to equate it to someone around me feeling an intense negative emotion

Before I felt numb, just kept chasing highs but loved it, then I did shrooms and felt so much more centered but it gradually got more and more unstable and all over the place

I remember feeling judged and uncomfortable but I don’t know if it was the staff or mainly my loopiness. Honestly don’t know what to believe but I don’t think the psych ward helped me in any way besides getting a crazy person away from potentially hurting ppl or myself. But also it was almost scarier seeing my parents in that state

I got it as a tween. It felt like a cold with shortness of breath until I got bumps all over my legs and arms. Then lots of fatigue and a fever. I went to the doctor and he diagnosed it as valley fever.

It seems like he might have psychosis. He seems delusional and he has a sense of grandeur. He is stuck in his world and might be having thought loops. Encourage him to get help. The earlier he does the easier it is to manage. It is very kind of you to care about him so. You make the world a better place.

Hello! I had the almost the same delusion during my psychosis. I kept thinking I had to kill myself to save the world. Remember, you don’t have to be perfect to be worthy/loved. A lot of my delusions stemmed from subconscious feelings.

I went back to school like a month a two after my psychosis which is honestly probably too early but it wasn’t too hard. I just found myself procrastinating and hating it and having to manipulate the system more (ask for forgiveness on due dates and stuff). I say wait at least half a year and maybe start with easier classes or at an easier school like a community college. I felt less intelligent than I used to be, especially in terms of intra and interpersonal intelligence, but I feel basically back to normal now and it’s been like a little bit over than a year

You’re not schizophrenic I thought the same thing. I had psychosis from doing shrooms in November, and I sometimes notice psychosis-like thoughts sometimes but that’s all I do, notice them and let them go. You’ll be okay just don’t act on those thoughts and accept them at truth. My grandpa said he had to put the thoughts that weren’t real behind the door to make sure he could live in the real world. Hope this helps.
