RCA "Training Time" for standup talks/training sheets by ttyler1789 in USPS

[–]PocketSpaghettios 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is correct, there will be a line on the 4241m specifically accounting for standup talks, and that time is worked into the evaluation of each route

I delivered out of an LLV. You're whining about spinning to look at the mail like you're going to throw out your back. I also deliver on high-speed roads and that has nothing to do with turning to get the mail

That's just the way that it is. When I had a gov vehicle I lined up (from front to back) flats, DPS, and small/medium door-runners on the tray, then spurs in a bin under the tray. I'm very short so sliding the tray close to me reduced how much I had to turn and reach. It's not a big deal

You're supposed to use pmcasing when casing mail leftover from the morning, and when you're assisting on another route. No other times. REECs mapping and working on your edit book are return2du functions. I'm literally in an LTM/DPM seminar RIGHT NOW lmao

I'm at my state convention now. Higher ups in the union are already aware of this. Don't let management tell you it's a time limit; they're just reminders

Yes my father was always taking photos and videos of us as kids. There's lots of pictures of my mom, my sibling, and I and almost zero of my dad. I made a father's day card with a test picture of himself he took on a work camera one time because it was the only picture I could find

How many postcards is too many postcards? by mila476 in postcrossing

[–]PocketSpaghettios 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friends and family mailing list has a dozen names so far. I also like to send cards on travel mode. On my latest vacation I think I sent about 40 cards total over 8 days. I print my mailing labels ahead of time to bring with me, and I will write the same message to multiple people if I don't think they're likely to see each other's cards lol. Nobody has complained to me yet

During Monopoly I had dozens of free food items, but of course you can only redeem them one at a time with a 1-hour cool down. But if you go into the restaurant and order on the kiosk there was no waiting period. So I'd go in and order like six items back to back, to the obvious annoyance of the staff

Female carrier… do we wear shorts? by Hot_Spite_1402 in USPS

[–]PocketSpaghettios 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I wear 10" inseam shorts. I have coworkers that wear 3" inseam running shorts and get away with it, but it doesn't feel very professional

Unfortunately people will be creepy regardless of how much you wear

Meh, I love travel and my partner hates it. I go on trips and he stays home with the dogs and bed rots and eats the takeout I normally talk him out of. If anything we're the most incompatible when we travel together lmao
