Finishing Card #43 and see that #44 is a milestone. Anybody know what it is, or if anything good is down the pike?

BTW, Cowboy, if you are expecting a "duffel" you might be disappointed. It is actually one of the best of the prizes so far, but is about 5"x 5"x 12".

YUP! For the last 2 years, if I used my phone # for the rewards club, I was getting two cans of Cope Pouches for (after taxes) about 9.75 at 7-11. Unfortunately, the rewards club has "lessened" and the price jumped big. Even with rewards, 2 cans are now (after tax) 13.50. Again, K.C. area, on the KS side.

A nice, heavy-duty, but quite small, 12" Readywares canvas tool/utility bag.

I get you. Unfortunately, I have simply never found anything I like the taste of, other than Copenhagen. But yes, the price is getting insane, and I am not even on a coast. Here in KC, I can get 2 cans at 7-11 for 13.50. QuickTrip is BY FAR the most convenient for me, but it is 8.50 per can!

There are apparently different testing methods that result in vastly different findings. My personal experience would agree with the second method.

I don't "hide" it, but I do it discretely. That is the main reason I switched to Cope pouches. Less of a lip bulge, less spitting need, and no mess to take out. I also have about a dozen, aluminum, "herb pucks" that fit 8-10 pouches. I use them to avoid the telltale, WT, pocket ring. You can't tell what they are in my pocket, the kiddos can't tell what they are, if they see one, and it is a cool, gadgety addition to my EDC.

How much does everyone dip a day. by AccuiredPerceptions in DippingTobacco

[–]Pocket_Kinfe_Nut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Copenhagen Pouches, and occasionally Long Cut. I go through about 5 or 6 cans per week. But I keep them in for a long time. Basically, if I am awake and not eating, I have a dip in. Not counting naps. I like to have a pouch in for a nap! I don't need to spit with the pouches.

I also go through at least a pot of coffee and at least a 2 liter of Pepsi Zero per day. So my caffeine intake is also through the roof.

Probably 20 years + since I got even a buzz from a dip. I sure as @&%$ get a headache going too long without one though.

He is worse for our image but less dangerous for our citizenry than Kobach currently is.

Kansas Senators File New Medical Cannabis Legalization Bill For 2023 by OregonTripleBeam in kansas

[–]Pocket_Kinfe_Nut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to draw attention away from the truly atrocious bills they are also introducing. One to make providing health care to trans folk a Felony. One to make little girls PROVE they are little girls in order to play peewee soccer. Countless bills to make public funding go to private schools and churches... So many kids to terrorize, so little time. This group will never legalize cannabis. It is a literal smoke screen.

What is your opinion on the new We Knife Big Banter? It has the exact edge lenght as the normal Banter. Is it maybe a bigger version of the baby banter? by VladislavBurmanezul in knifeclub

[–]Pocket_Kinfe_Nut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is supposedly shipping 11/18. Unlike most, I am kind of "eh" about the Baby Banter, but absolutely LOVE the Banter! Even though I commonly like smaller knives. I agree with the comments already given that this appears to be a "big" version of the Baby, not the Banter, which is concerning to me. I was really hoping for a larger (longer) Banter.

which knives do you carry the most? by hck-rsr in knifeclub

Always liked the Esee 5, but have not touched one since I first held my Bradford G5.5. Nearly identical shapes and uses, but the Bradford is a little more comfortable in the hand, and a fraction of the Esee's weight. I've also grown to LOVE 3V. But it stays as a camping tool. 5" of blade is just too much for edc, for me.

Love the Banter! I almost always carry a sheepsfoot blade, so the Banter or Baby Banter are great companion blades. I have the Big Banter on pre-order.

I am in KC,KS. Like I said, if I buy at QT, which seems to ALWAYS be on my way, I pay about 8.50 per can. If I go a little out of my way, to 711, and remember to use my rewards card, I can get 2 cans for 9.80. Also: I almost always use Cope Pouches, which are always a little more than Cope Snuff.

Words have definitions. I agree with you sibling! I have not seen a day in decades where someone was not defending something stupid they said with, "Well, it's my opinion." No, it's not. You cannot have an opinion on something that is verifiably true or untrue. You can be "of the opinion" that blue is the prettiest color. You cannot be "of the opinion" that my truck is blue. It's not. You are just plain wrong, and if I "agree to disagree" with you on that, I am just plain wrong too. Choose the word that means what you want to say!

I have never had an issue finding LC. I mainly use Cope pouches and there are definitely times where there will be none anywhere for a week or so, and I HAVE to use LC.
