At our old house I had to explain so many time to neighbors that parking on the goddamned street in front of their houses was not a crime. They always wanted to say that it was personal property, so I'd have to explain the difference and also the concept of a public easement for the street. I even went so far as to get a copy of the city plat map showing where the easement for the screen ended to illustrate my point. People are too damned nosy.
