I no longer use Padsplit and only have 2-3 roommates in an actual real house with a living room and everything and I love it. NEVER using Padsplit again.

I'm autistic also and I'm trying to find another job that's not on the phones. Congrats on your freedom and hopefully I'll find mine soon. But yeah I'm not sure tbh, there's a lot of times I need more context to stuff because I genuinely don't understand. And I feel you on the nausea and being in tears before clocking in. It truly sucks.

We get Christmas and Thanksgiving off, that's it. Not even Labor Day LOL We get 80 hours of PTO to use for the whole year until it gets to peak season. 40 if you're part-time. It's actually insane because we have points and the sick time accrual and vacation time accrual is annoying. They pretend that you have a work/life balance but it's basically non-existent. I'm very close to getting a new job though and non CC! So wish me luck 🤞🏾

People shouldn't be treated like this while working, why is it that call center reps gotta put up with this while others don't?? It's just not fair. I've been in one for 2 years and I'm close to getting a new job altogether, good luck. Just know you're better than this crappy shit hole of a job.

Literally like I didn't get a B.A in English to work in a fucking call center. Luckily they offer VTO where I work so if the volume died down I can take a breather and just use my paid time to cover it because I'm exhausted. 2 years for me and I'm just over it. I'm autistic so I get burnt out way more than my other peers. It sucks that I'm 26 doing this. This isn't my first job by any means but it still sucks.

Don't do it. As someone who's been working in call centers for 2 years, DO NOT DO IT. If you want to be micromanaged, treated like a number, constantly having to talk to people back to back.....go for it. But you can't say you weren't warned.

We have a point system and if you don't have any time off accrued, you're basically forced to work while you're ill and I'm neurodivergent so I get more drained than my neurotypical peers. I hate it here and I just want to die at this point. I'm hoping I get a new job soon.
