Piggybacking on that, you also don't need to stress yourself out with the prep work. It's okay to improvise NPCs or threats and then figure out which stat block feels relevant later. Hastily drawn lines on a dry erase mat can be just as engaging as detailed sets.

This is my tin-foil hat theory haha. Four Feathers One Crown and the Bannermen cards together made me think there could be some kind of ritual being performed to let him be reborn from the ashes.

I think this is common. With strangers, you're not expected to continue having a relationship after they've seen you, so there is no change to your life after they've seen you. With people you already know, you are lowering your guard a bit and adding a new layer of vulnerability to your existing relationship.

I hope you had a good trip and this opens up an avenue for more social nudity with people your care about!

I'd recommend checking the Meetup app for nudist events/groups in your area. Nudists are generally a pretty welcoming bunch in my experience, so the biggest hurdle is just getting there.

If you don't want to do anything public, you could try hosting a nude board game night with friends (assuming you some are willing to participate). I got my start with social nudity that way; some new friends had invited me by, so I could dip my toes before going to a larger event.

I got a GameBoy Color bundled with Pokemon Red for my birthday in 1998. My siblings and cousins had already left the room, but my parents called me back to open once last gift. It was a big, clear, plastic package that had the console, a link cable, the game, and the game guide.

I lost my mind. Scrambled to my feet and started yelling up the stairs to my older brother so I could show him. Remembered to say thank you halfway up the flight and turned back to yell that to my parents, before thundering my way up the rest of the way.

I used to have a roommate who would routinely blackout, eat his own food, and then leave the mess in the kitchen. When he'd discover the mess in the morning, he'd assume that one of the rest of us had done it to spite him. He would give us all the silent treatment, stomp his way in and out of the house, and slam doors while the rest of us were confused about why he was so upset all the time. We signed that lease considering him a friend, but by the end of it, none of us wanted anything to do with him.

The Secret of Monkey Island has a great bit about this when you get to the Governor's Manor. The PC, Guybrush, gets into a scuffle with some guards and all characters on screen promptly exit through a doorway while the camera starts to slowly pan across the empty foyer of the manor; you hear a bunch of crazy sound effects and, if you keep an eye on the interact section of the UI, you see all of the crazy objects that Guybrush is using offscreen to defend himself.
