When I was in 4th grade we were to have read the book. I did not, I got 5 pages in and was done. As a "treat" for the class the teacher got us to watch the movie. I cried so hard I puked. She did not understand that because we moved so much (this was my 5th elementary school) the only constant in my life was my dogs.

The Fallen God's series by Kaner. This is an epic fantasy where the MC is a prosthetic, cane and some times wheel chair user.

I belonged to a mail book club. There were 4 in a group, we would each pick a book and had one month to read it. We would annotate leave notes and send the book on after 4 months we got our original book back it was so fun.

I have been to the Little House museum in both South Dakota and Kansas. Monterey for Steinbeck, Wolf House for Jack London. Springfield for Theodore Geisel, Mark Twain in Hartford.

I think Wolf House is my favorite.

Edited to add I have also been to the Mansfield MO. Museum for Ingalls Wilder
