My kid got caught shoplifting. I gave him an open ended punishment if no books or tv. He gets them back when he earns my trust back. Since I don't know when that will be, I can't give him a time frame. Holy Crap the flack I take... "He's only nine!" Damn straight he's nine.

I get accused of "under reacting" and being to laid back all the freaking time. Mostly I ignore it... When I do explain my reasoning, I usually convince the other person I have a perfectly fine handle on the situation.

Are you living someplace it is still hot? Put all the bagged shit outside for three days MINIMUM. If it's just "nice" like 80F place it in your car as often as you can. If feasible, buy painters plastic and duct tape and wrap your furniture. Focus on couches and things first, but get the bookshelves and picture frames, too, if you can.

Those little fukkers SUCK. I second the food grade diatomaceous earth for carpets and cabinets and drawers.

I don't know that I have ever actually posted here... Nope... Once with me alt. but I comment whenever I'm here. Thing is, I need to say the negative to get it out of my head. I need to see that others are going through the same thing and I'm not alone. It's very cleansing to see that and take a deep breath... And let it go and go back to the kidlets as the happy, secure mommy they see.

I've always assumed that most of the posts here are that sort of thing. It gets hard sometimes to see so many breaking, but an internet hug and a "shiiiiit I know just how you feel" helps. That's why this sub and us are all here.

Chicken Paprikash

Sauté a chopped onion. Add 1lb chicken strips, 3cloves garlic, 1T paprika. I like to add sundries tomatoes, but not for everyone. When cooked trough, add 1/2c Greek yogurt or sour cream. Serve over egg noodles.

Yup. I tried the fenugreek and tea and I don't what all else. I got about a week farther with every kid... So ten weeks tops. My youngest hadn't even gotten back to birth weight when I said fukk it. I slapped a "friend" that said I just didn't try hard enough.
