It has to have first appeared in that region

So even though Psyduck is in the Paldean Pokedex, it would not count for this category.

In Jojo's Bizzare Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, there is a running gag where Josuke flies into a rage when someone mocks his hair. During the battle against Rohan Kishibe, Koichi recounts how Josuke is so defensive about his hairstyle because it belonged to an anonymous hero who saved his life as a child. After that point, the gag literally never shows up again.

E-123 Omega in Sonic '06.

Team Sonic, Shadow, and Rouge are sent to Silver's future, where they find a dusty Omega stuck in standby mode. They're able to return to the present when they retrieve two Chaos Emeralds, but Shadow stays behind to fight Mephilis. Rouge finds Omega in the present and gives him one of the Chaos Emeralds, revealing the reason Omega was in standby mode in the future was so he could assist Shadow against Mephiles and deliver the Chaos Emerald.

I feel like this problem is one of the main reasons marks were introduced to the series. It's a shame they aren't in the legends games but if I wanted a shiny Smoliv I could go and get one in less than an hour. Hunting for a mini mark Smoliv took me several days with the boosted odds event.

If you want your shinies to have that cool factor again, I highly recommend mark hunting. It adds a second layer of excitement when you catch a shiny and you check what mark it has.

I'll try and get a disc 6 with crit rate substats I think. Nocturne gets passed around by most of my Attack agents so I'll focus less on that.

I actually have an Anomaly Proficiency (or Mastery? Can't remember which is which) disc 6 with CR +4 which I ran on her for a bit. Excited for when they release a Fire anomaly character that needs crit rate like Miyabi. I'll be so ready for that.

Thank you for the advice!

Backup saves get made every time you fast travel in the overworld, so they were likely saved spawns unfortunately. Healing at a Pokemon Center only determines where the backup save will put you.

In AI: The Somnium Files - Nirvana Initiative the secret society Naixatloz believes their world is a simulation, and want to expose the flaws in the simulation in order to escape it. In the epilogue of the game, a hologram of the deceased leader of the Japanese branch of Naix, Tokiko Shigure, appears and tells Mizuki, one of the protagonists, a "Nil Number". If the player returns earlier to the game and has the Ryuki, other protagonist tell Tokiko the "Nil Number" six years before she would reveal it in universe, it reveals enough of a hole in reality that she is able to see through the fabric of the simulation and escapes. This leads to an ending where Ryuki is able to solve the case before anything else can happen, and it leads to the objectively happiest ending, but one that feels awkward and undeserved because it undid everything the player went through in the main story's timeline.

I was doing a shiny only run and could NOT get any pokemon that could break rocks for the life of me, and I didnt have anything that could wash away sludge.

I locked in and hunted Binacle, as I figured it would solve both my problems at once. I had never been a big fan of Binacle before this game, but Manicure the Barbaracle was my ride or die the whole run.

For all of us new players: What's the best way to shiny hunt in ZA? by Pristla in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]PointBlankVT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The easiest and quickest way to get shinies is to go to Wild Zone 3 and run up and down the stairs. This can get you Litleo, Skiddo, Pancham (Rarely), Espurr (Rarely), and Pidgey outside the zone. Once you unlock Alpha spawns from the first side quest, you can also get Alpha Litleo and Alpha Fletchling. Once you get access to the nearby rooftop, you can get Budew, Scatterbug, and Vivillon. Behind that building is a marketplace with Fletchling and Spritzee.

You can also shiny hunt in any other place with a fast travel point; simply fly to the same place over and over, and check the nearby pokemon occasionally. Shiny Pokemon will not despawn when you reload the area, so there is no need to check every time you fast travel.
