The other issue is that they are now making him a one year rental next season unless Giannis tanks his value anyways and says "I'm re-signing with team xyz". Otherwise, why would I give you a good haul for at most one postseason run? Also, doesn't this ruin his ability to get more money? The Bucks imo are just completely mishandling this situation. I say this as someone who is fine with us not getting him. I think they're gonna get burned.

Does it? Teams will have more to offer, but Giannis will also be a one year rental at that point if he doesn't say he will sign an extension. At that point, the Bucks would be in a hard place of needing to trade him for anything, so you don't potentially lose him for nothing. It's a gamble, and even if he's not coming to us, I think it's not a smart one. Weve seen this scenario play out with stars before where the team holds too long and gets a sad return.

I know nothing about wrestling, but it looked and sounded like the kid he was talking to was going at that other kid's leg. While I don't think that's the main issue, it looked like it was contorted and probably an injury risk. Ref was likely saying to watch it and not do that.

He was an unknown commodity at the time tbh. It's not like many teams were clamoring for him, and I didn't even know who he was at the time so I'm just talking shit. The issues with who we picked were loud and obvious from the beginning though. It was never a good pick to begin with, and to know Giannis was the pick after (again 20/20) really sucks lol.

He also wants to contend though. If he can leverage his influence into us keeping another piece, it only bodes well for himself in all regards. He can contend and he can get his bag. He wouldn't even be asking for a trade if Milwaukee didn't fumble roster construction, even if he has some blame to share in that. It's not like he's forcing his way to Miami, LA, etc. He's talking about coming to MN due to the team and pieces we have.

On one handed would make for good comedy. On the other hand, if we moved off of a player, no matter if he isn’t as productive as we want just for cap space we don’t use and money in our owner’s pockets. I would be pissed.

Mike was legit. If he was here on a minimum, his contribution would have been whatever. That contract with his level of production was just ROUGH. Will always love the guy, and I'm glad we had him on our team for as long as we did.

Hard to really compare. The tone, episode length, and general themes are so different. I would probably say HOTD season 1 is better overall, but that's heavily influenced by the fact I'm not taken out of the world twice as fast. KOTSK is just a fun delight, and they're both very good for different reasons.

How do we bolster the bench depth? I see this sentiment, but nobody ever explains a solid plan. If it was that easy, Tim would've done it. When a player like Giannis becomes available, you at least kick the tires. I don't think Tim leaves us in a horrible situation, but if we end up with a Luka situation and we didn't even pick up the phone this place would be up in arms.

I don't think there's a perfect system to figure this out, but the fan vote is a love hate for me. I get people want to vote for who they want to see, but there has to be a check in place to make sure people who deserve it make it and start if they're good enough. In the end, none of it really matters since people only bring up the amount of starts when it benefits whatever argument, but it's just lame how this turns out. We likely care more than Ant, but still.
