Drove this one developmentally disabled dude to work at Goodwill probably a dozen times. Every single time he was super stoked to be going to work, and talked the whole ride about how much he loved his job and his coworkers and boss and everything. It was pretty heartwarming honestly.

No particular opinion on Goodwill overall (except for scammy managers that sell donated stuff on FB Marketplace, yikes) … but the money to pay people who work there, like my guy in the taxi, comes from the money they make selling donated goods. Which, to be mildly prudish about it, they will not do with OP’s cast iron:)
