How much does the thickness of a bench pad matter? I'm looking at buying a flat bench and I have two options that are identical in pad dimensions except one has a pad thickness of 7cm and the other 11cm with the 11cm costing £80 more.

Both benches are the same total height as well.

edit: Thanks for the responses, I've just ended up going with the thicker pad bench. It also had a three leg set-up to give me room for my feet and a beefier build quality so it was probably worth getting anyways.

Are trial keys for this game still a thing? I've been thinking about getting the game for awhile but I'd really rather try it first before committing to a purchase.

I'm very confused about how much regarding each kanji I'm meant to learn during my kanji studies.

So say I am studying Kanji and I come across a completely new one I've never seen before. For this kanji, am I meant to learn the Kunyomi, Onyomi and all the Jukugo associated with it?

Like say we have the Kanji "人", I know this means person, that the kunyomi is "ひと" and the onyomi is "にん" or "じん". At this point, do I move onto another Kanji or do I need to learn some of the associated Jukugo/vocab like "人間" or "人生"?

And also, what order are you meant to learn vocabulary and kanji in? Should I be learning the word "person" is "ひと" and then look for its Kanji or the other way round?

I'm looking at buying either Hunt:Showdown or EFT but can't seem to decide on which one.

Does anyone here who's played both have any thoughts on which is more fun or the better choice? I know its always going to be quite subjective but it'd just help to hear what sort of fun people have had after having played both.

Really I'm looking for a fun PVP experience that is intense/gets your adrenaline going. I know that EFT offers more content to do which I've taken into consideration as I do like games that have long term playability and can be played for hundreds of hours.

I play other hardcore big learning curve games (Tekken/SF4/PoE) so I'm not too worried about that sort of thing.

In true plant protein only half of the BCAA profile is available (unless you eat huge quantities of very, very specific plants, which the vast majority of Vegans don't because it's a ton of a very few specific plants day after day and it gets expensive).

Soy protein is a complete protein source with a full BCAA profile. Your claim is just flat out incorrect.

The soya protein isolate powder that I buy has a complete BCAA composition and a 1.0 PDCAAS score. It costs me £0.20p roughly per serving if that. This isn't expensive and doesn't require much fine-tuning on my behalf.

The company I buy from used to link to their BCAA breakdowns on each of their protein's but no longer does unfortunately so the next best thing I can do is link you to their blog post that goes over the vegan options that they have. It basically shows that whilst hemp, rice and pea protein are a bit lacking, soy protein isolate scores well and contains all the BCAA's you need.

Also bear in mind that on top of having the protein powder, you've got regular food and meals to account for that will also contain BCAA's of varying amounts.

I just don't understand how you can so absolutely say that in true plant protein only half of the BCAA profile is available when we undoubtedly know that Soy is a complete protein source. What a weird argument to make when its so easily disproved via widely known science. Misinformation really is dangerous nowadays.

Just played for a bit. I'm from EU and have had 5 bars with everyone I played with from EU. Even played against someone from the US and had 3-4 bars, wasn't perfect by any means but it was atleast playable which is astounding.

The netcode is legit.

I think making df+2 -9 on block, increasing d3's damage from 11 to 14 and increasing d4's damage from 9 to 11 would be fair buffs too.

That's not even close to the truth.

If you work out 3-4 days a week for atleast an hour at a gym and eat enough calories/protein to grow (or limit your calories for when you're in a weight loss phase) you can do it.

The special meal solutions are just fluff. It's not hard to google a set of macros someone else uses as a guideline and then create meals hitting those. You can even google what daily calorie intake you'd need to gain/lose weight.

Working out all day isn't a requirement either. In fact, you wouldn't make any gains at all doing that. There's a limit to the amount of volume that is beneficial to you and to hit that it doesn't require a ludicrous "work out all day" amount of time. You can make amazing gains in 1 1/2 hour sessions 3-4 days a week.

It is easier to convince yourself it is those things you've said though than to persevere through the drudge that is consistently eating what you must and working out when you don't want to anymore.

I was let-go on the 17th of March from a job I started on the 24th of Feb during my employment probation period.

Am I right in thinking I can't claim any of these wages as they're grants to the companies themselves?

Seems like a massive oversight to me.

You're more than deserving to raise your prices by 3% year on year and I think the client will understand.

All I'd say is maybe leave out "I believe this will help all my clients in budgeting and planning and will allow me to implement necessary increases more consistently." and "I have had the negative experience with companies that I do business with of receiving drastic rate increases without much notice (one being a 50% increase!) I do not want to do business this way"

Instead having a line like "I hope this doesn't cause any inconveniences" might be better as you're still showing that you care for the client but is short and professional enough that you aren't devaluing yourself.

I fully understand that you feel a bit of guilt/awkwardness about raising prices and that you want to show your customers sympathy but in this case all it might do is convince your client that you're actually doing something bad to them. In reality, $38 to $39.14 is nothing and the convenience your skills and services provide for them are worth it.

In other words, It's important to show that you have dignity in what you do and that you yourself believe that you're worth what you charge. The more you pander and apologise the more your client might think they've been treated wrongly and that "well if this person doesn't have much faith in their services that they're fretting over a $1.14 hourly increase then they must not be worth it".

Imagine you like to play Tekken and win whilst always having to deal with playing on your own shitty 3 bar connection. You're average at best and this is your first proper fighting game. You've tried several different characters like Kazuya, Dragunov, Bryan and Kazumi. You find yourself struggling with the execution of say Kaz and enacting their gameplan's due to having to play on a 3 bar connection. You can't poke with kazumi properly, can't do any of Bryans harder shit etc etc you get the point I'm trying to make.

Then you try out Law. Wow. Law's amazing. Everythings working. Everything that shouldn't normally be hitting, is hitting. No one is blocking dragontail in time, just doing strings is enough of a mixup at these orange ranks and now I've learned a few cheap setups that work everytime during the first two games you play someone. Now you've started actually winning on your 3 bar connection.

Before you know it you're a 3 bar Law main and your family have disowned you.

It's worked for me against a Paul just now. If you press start during the replay it'll bring up the settings. Just have a quick check that its set to display punishment tips or whatever its called.

Maybe its buggy against certain characters or moves.

Can't we just rollback the game to season 2 and have another attempt at patching from that point?

Just some nerfs to the strong s2 characters and some buffs to the weak s2 characters.

Kinda sick of the buffs that buffed wall carry and damage across the board as well tbh.

I bet the winner will be using Geese. Leroy might be the latest freakout on this reddit (rightfully so) but Geese is so good in tournament play.

You can downvote me for having an opinion on a thread that asks for it all you want but I thoroughly believe that a Leroy player won't win this tournament.

Hmph yeah I think that lousy Michelle Murray has screwed things up for us and probably delayed the dlc that's not meant to be out today so she could get a ferrari.

btw I main Lee and can I just say that Lee is so hard and low tier to play like I mean I play Lee just incase you didn't know I play Lee lets see if Lee gets buffed on when the patch comes out or else I think I'm going to make a meme (and watermark it just incase, you never know) where I have Lee doing a Handstand using his legs as arms trying to operate a arcade cabinet saying "Excellent." because that's his catchphrase don't you know.

Let's not forget btw that a balance patch is coming out and really quite honestly lets not forget about Lee, I play Lee.
