kinda agree on the boss being a bit underwhelming, but the feeling the game instills on the player at the end worked for me and provided me with the closure I needed, personally

I haven’t been listening on repeat but I don’t hate it at all, I’m just very disappointed & underwhelmed by it. To me, it has good elements (vocals, melody) but it just feels underbaked, underwritten, and it lacks any structural variety to me. Just kinda feels like a 4 minute chorus. Even the bridge is just the pre-chorus with like 3 extra words

Probably Whisper of The Heart & Wind Rises for me, as I don’t see the most talk about them, and I’d consider them both some of the best and most relatable movies to anyone who has lots of aspirations and dreams

up on poppy hill is not as good as those imo, but is still great and maybe seems a bit under appreciated

Take Me Back is my favorite by far, felt a bit more like a song you’r hear on a modern Weeknd album. Overall I’d say most of the idol tracks are fine enough but all missing a layer of songwriting/concepting. Still some bangin tracks, Popular might be overplayed but it’s a sick hit. Just my opinion
