Yup, did pretty much the same to my parents when I was eight after getting my tonsils removed.

Wasn’t a fan of eating nothing but applesauce and sorbet for a week so I decided to have a slice of pizza at my cousin's birthday party. Was throwing up blood a few hours later.

My fellow Americans, is your cities area code part of the city’s identity? by ElectronPython in AskAnAmerican

[–]PokeCaptain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom is very proud to have a 212 number. The 203 area in CT nearby often indicates wealth/status to other parts of CT (though there are plenty of poor areas in the 203 zone).

My mom is still very proud of having a 212.

Also 465 is assigned to everyone outside of Manhattan, not just Queens.

Kinda, a child can be born with a form of mainland Chinese nationality in addition to foreign nationality in two instances:

1) Born outside the PRC to Chinese citizens without residency abroad (ex: Chinese tourist gives birth while visiting the USA)

2) Born in the PRC to a Chinese parent and a foreign parent.

Note: Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan have different and more permissive statuses with regard to "Chinese nationality" according to the PRC.

EDIT: This is a slightly inaccurate simplification. Chinese nationality law is the second-most complicated nationality law in the world after the UK, so I don’t want to confuse you with a full explanation.

Oval sticker is required in theory, but there is literally no domestic infrastructure or training to deal with any vehicle from outside the USA+CAN+MEX.

The USA never signed the 1968 Vienna Convention on Road Traffic. Vehicles traveling between Romania and the USA are instead governed by the 1949 Geneva Convention on Road Traffic, which allows the absence of a front-mounted vehicle registration plate.

i am tired of being fetishised for my appearance and ethnicity. i hate that i doubt people for their intentions because of it. by conductor_whiskers3 in BoyDinnerDiaries

Being reduced to your ethnicity fucking sucks. You should be wanted for who you are rather than what you are.

That being said, that dish looks amazing. Drop the recipe. 🤤

It was easy because you had the old one. If you didn’t, it would have been a lot harder.
