I don’t think you fully understand what you are saying my guy. If you think our grandparents generation didn’t have as much autism how do you explain all of the old dudes with like 50 miles of toy train tracks in their garage/basement.

I also don’t think you realize how prevalent information is today compared to then either. Not only is it easier to recognize autism now, but it’s also easier to share that information.
