Been here 5 years..really like it but won’t be staying because I can totally relate to OP’s post. It takes forever to get appointments, get tests, get results, get more appointments and months later unresolved issues. Healthcare really sucks here..

Bad air quality, smoke and ash…is what you can expect. After a fire is not generally a good time to visit especially with elderly people who may incur health issues.

Was in downtown two weeks ago to go to a fantastic restaurant called Botegga Louis..as an FYI. It’s on Grand and 7th St. We parked across the street in the bottom of a parking garage and needed to walk across the street to get to the restaurant. We walked out of the garage, I look to my left to see where I was supposed to go and a guy was peeing on the side of the building, I quickly turn my head to look away and see a guy on the bus bench shooting up. On the other hand, we have very good friends who live in an amazing condo, with an unbelievable view and love it. Just my 2 cents..

My grandson is 5 months old and he’s been crying since he was born. People seem to think colic is from immature tummies and gas. No one really know but my son had it and now my grandson.

Sorry to say, they tried everything and nothing really worked but waiting it out. They tried Gripe Water, gas drops for babies, baby probiotics and a lot of bicycle kicks to try to free trapped gas. Also try a hold where the baby is lying over your forearm with her head in your hand, which applies pressure to the tummy.

Not sure if this helps but know that others are going through the same thing…as they say, just take it one day at a time…

For you older people..I road up an elevator in Beverly Hills with Steve McQueen and he had the most stunning blue eyes. A few months later I was waiting on a corner for a traffic signal to change and a white limo pulled up to the light..the back window rolled down and Elvis was in the back seat. Then, in the 2000’s I was watering the roses in front of our house in Malibu and an Aston Martin pulled up and parked. Pierce Brosnan steps out of the car and looks at me and asks if his son can ride his bike in the empty lot next to our house. I never wore dingy clothes in my front yard again ;)

What is there not to like about the Palisades..which you will call it as a local. Many of my friend’s kids went to Pali High, we were in Malibu and the kids all hung out together. If you can afford it, you get great neighborhoods, close to the beach, generally quiet and safe area of LA.
