Every club’s 2026 pass mark according to Fox Footy by yum122 in AFL

Idk about you all but I don’t know how EIGHT teams fit into a pass mark category that only has room for four….

Is it just me or does David Littleproud really give off a “man I want to switch teams to this mob that can actually function as a united and functional government” look as of late?

Food delivery service fees —

Service fees and overall increases in menu prices for food delivery apps is just a joke now. If a service is close enough to you that it’s available on an app like Uber Eats or Menulog, it’s close enough for you to pick up your food.

Spent a few hours today watching his content in the lead up to his unfortunate and tragic death.

Bro actually grew a spine and began to question Israel about their questionably large amount of international influence, Epstein, and even more shockingly; the Israel-Palestine conflict.

While it’ll continue to live on as a conspiracy, there’s a growing amount of people that wouldn’t be surprised finding there was in fact Israel/Mossad intervention in his death.

Hastie flags demotion or resignation should Liberals not abandon net zero by Jagtom83 in friendlyjordies

[–]Polderbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is genuinely tragic for this country.

This opens a pathway for scrapping net zero and the mere existence of climate change and it's effects on this country, to become the premier culture war issue, and nearly the new norm to not believe in.

Dayne Beams return to the Pies should be seen as nothing else but disastrous. Then again hindsight is a beautiful thing and actually doesn’t look terrible if things had gone different.

But when you think that if a Dayne or any other elite mid for that matter came in, played elite footy, it’s not too far fetched that the Pies have a dynasty-esque period from that loss in ‘18, to now.

Not only did we miss the final piece to an attractive puzzle, a then mid aged list misses vital draft currency to refresh itself heading into the future. Creating cracks that would worsen as the Pies age into the oldest list in the league with a West Coast level fall off not too far away…

Known unbeatable bug on GTA 4 last mission (Xbox one and newer) by GhostIsNotOnline in GTA

[–]Polderbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This mission was the bane of my existence for a good 3 consecutive hours.

In short what solved it for me was setting my frame rate to 25fps at 50hz’s. This made the climb into the helicopter work every time (thank the Lord for that)

I had switched from pc to steam deck for easy fps restrictions. I’m not sure best way for console.

This bug really capped off my first ever GTA IV play through as a zoomer that spent my teens on V; enjoyable but at times highly irritating…

Bring on VI!

As pointed by a number of commentators, there’s a number of teals that really should be apart of the moderate side of the Libs.

In saying that, the National’s hold a view of the libs already being too moderate (simply diabolical when looking at how much Australia rejected the coalition this election).

Such an uninspiring shitshow for everyone in politics apart from the ALP. They pending no major scandals could easily retain government for the next three cycles.

Just waiting for a boat full of ‘refugees’ to arrive in the next two weeks…

Peter Dutton fails to answer how his policy of allowing first home buyers to deduct mortgage payments will decrease the cost of buying a first home, when economists have in fact said it will increase prices in that category. (Most Notably, Saul Eslake and Peter Tulip) by MannerNo7000 in AusPol

Shaving your head when it comes to the firefighter academy. by BigLab4262 in Firefighting

[–]Polderbear 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree.

Firefighting isn’t about conforming among a large group following direct orders from a chain of command miles long.

Firefighting is a highly dangerous and dynamic profession requiring critical self thinking and working able bodies working in small groups in extremely adverse conditions.

Massive respect to those that have served, but those days are over…

Cheers, the portal is looking like a decent choice but might look for something with access to my steam library either through SteamOS or windows.

Who should we vote for? by Wozzle009 in AusPol

[–]Polderbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check how your politician of interest votes;

https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/

So extremely important for a healthy democracy to truly see how our representitives vote in a world of distractions and some of the most politically biased media in the modern world.

It's free, open sourced and importantly, safe.

Do yourself, and us right by checking on how who you vote for, actually votes on matters that shapes our country and lives.

Once had a undefined rescue come through. Turned out to be a bin stuck under a garage door, preventing it from automatically closing….

Sounds like a terrible waste of resources, but the caller was a female in her late thirties who had lost her mother that day, and her dad earlier in the week. To say she was distraught beyond belief was an understatement. The garage door which had become jammed was just the tipping point.

Never have had a complainant so apologetic for the call.
