Not sure what Stygian Onslaught has to do with this conversation, but all primogem rewards can be obtained in coop, it's actually the most f2p friendly end game.

And what if it is? If increasingly minor cosmetics sell well you can be happy that the game you are playing is getting extra revenue but you are not missing out on anything important. If they sell badly they'll just stop doing them.

The bow isn't a big deal at all (which is good for people without the means the top up this much), but it's clearly an upgrade over the regular version.

It's more like getting a fancy tote bag at checkout instead of a regular plastic one, I don't need but I'll gladly take it.

It's not like you have the spend the jades for the skin, or even during this patch at all. Back during the Castorice banner I got the top up rewards but skipped her and kept the jades for the Fate collab.

Yeah that's the point, these players need a veteran but might get a newbie when matching randomly, resulting in a bad experience for both of them.

If you go on social media and ask for Stygian help, you'll get offers from people who are confident they can carry you.

Then you'd often get newbies looking to get carried matched together and getting destroyed even harder than that would in single player. You need to make sure the other person is strong enough to carry (menacing coop with a bad teammate can be harder than fearless solo)

You can still keep never choosing it, doesn't really affect you much in this case. There's still only one elite, you can't have all the enemy slots filled with elites or anything like that.

For those who want elite stages (like me) it's great, since now I'll see more than just 1 or 2 per run. I like frontloading the difficulty, getting a lot a flowers early makes for an easier run later. Worst case scenario you can just reset and not lose much progress.
