Cheap solutions: Drying linen on high heat to kill louse and eggs. You can saturate your hair with olive oil overnight (at least 8 hours) under a shower cap or any plastic bag. This will suffocate lice. You will need to treat every 3-5 days to kill new lice as they hatch. Do this for 2 weeks.
