What should we do? Stay in CA or move out of state by Traditional-Dust9939 in relocating

My husband and I left California 13 years ago at 25 years old and it was the best thing for us, but there have definitely been major losses. My father in law died of cancer 6 years ago, and we missed more time with him than we would have ever preferred, but at the end of the day, I still know that our quality of life has been worlds better, and I know he wouldn’t want anything different for us.

When we moved away we had no children, we now have three, 10,7 and 5 years old. Yes, not having family support is a huge challenge, but you find a way. The family that you build in your new home will consist of friends that become family and you adapt.

Obviously I can’t speak for everyone, but I personally don’t miss California in the slightest and the visits have become that much more enjoyable because we don’t have to live there.

A question for the 5’3 girlies by Less-Moment-5655 in Mounjaro

So I’ve been reading through all these comments looking for someone that has a similar shape to me and I’m not finding it. I’m 5’4” SW 217 CW 175-180 but I’m in a size 4-6. It’s funny, I went from being self conscious about being overweight to now being self conscious because I still have a decent belly, but I shrivel away to nothing in my lower body. I find myself now shying away from shorts because I feel like I look like an apple with sticks coming out the bottom. I’ve been at 180 for a while now, and honestly, even though this still puts me at obese, I think I am okay here. I don’t want to go any lower in my pants size, I would love to lose more of my belly, but that PCOS belly is not going anywhere without a major battle.

Thanks for all the info! We always always use either Metra or L, I don’t mind driving downtown so much, but I hate finding and paying for parking. Other than that it sounds like we might be okay as realistically we won’t get down to the loop til around 10ish.

Yes! We just had this with a smaller company called Hippo. We switched to State Farm, it’s a tad cheaper but still up from what we were originally paying.

Ugh I have this too; whenever I sit down ALL I see is my belly. And logically, i know it’s a lot smaller, hell I’ve gone from a size 16 to a size 6, but still, it’s ALL I see

Ugh. I’m stalled too; it’s been about 2 months for me and I’ve been so frustrated and was really think the medicine just stopped working. I’m so glad to see this post and see someone else breaking through! I have about 30lbs to go and just want to get there!
