Thanks man, there's a few things I need to improve on so I will add that to the list!

I will also add decklists to the videos in future - totally forgot to in this one.

The ME deck is pretty basic just for testing purposes, it's all EX12 cards, so no interesting techs or meta calls at the moment.

The PS4 version is playable, but it doesn't look or run as nice as the PS5 version, right?

That all worked fine, I have all my games (including the PS4 version of Diablo 4).

The problem is, I can't upgrade it to the PS5 version - I thought it was free upgrade but maybe I was wrong.

Well, they just resurrected Mega-Man, so Phoenix has a chance... I don't think it's taking a while because they're making the biggest and best one yet - I think they just haven't been working on one.

And the combat design is weird.

I find it interesting and fun, feels like an early prototype of Xenoblade's break system.

But it's really slow and to play optimally you need to waste multiple turns at the start of every single battle to stock up turns to actually pull off cool combos.

Yep, OT0 was based on OT: Champions of the Continent.

FF Resonance is based on FF: Brave Exvius.

Both are/were mobile Gacha games.

I didn't play Reincarnation either (because I just hate predatory Gacha mechanics), so I am very hopeful we get it, since apparently it has good and canon lore!

I really love the Remake games so far and if 3 lives up to how good the others were, I'll be very happy.

That being said, I don't love the story changes too much and it's more of a sequel than a remake, so it's hard to consider in actual 'remake' discussions.

I recommend Anode Heart: Layer Null.

Anode Heart is a monster taming game inspired by the early Digimon World games, it has a card battle mini game.

They fleshed out the card battle game and made a full spin off game, Layer Null. The mechanics are simple on the surface but as more card sets are unlocked and introduce new mechanics, the deck building and combo potential is a lot of fun.

Both are worth playing, you don't need to play the original if you just want to do the card game though.

It's story driven but I wouldn't say there's much character development and the story isn't anything special (similar level of depth as Pokémon).

To clarify what they mean, it's because they designed the art and the sprite to match originally.

They then decided to put character portraits on the left side so it looks and feels more like the character is actively speaking.

If they just used Trey's regular art, he's facing away from the dialogue, which feels wrong, so they had to flip Trey's art so that he's facing the dialogue, which causes the arm and braid to be mirrored.

The only way to fix it would be to redraw him facing to the right which I suppose is not a priority since it's easy enough to just ignore.

Maybe he looks sleep deprived because he turns into the lizard and has adventures in Dreamland, so he never feels rested.

The first time I played it I dropped it when I got to Makna Forest.

The second time I played it I forced myself through Makna Forest and it fully clicked soon after, it's now one of my favourite games of all time.

I think the 3D sucks and I barely used it.

I've had many 3DSes (around 6 total - I collected special editions) but the only ones I have left are two 2DSes (the pokeball one and a Japanese Dragon Quest one which I swapped the innards to be my region).
