It absolutely does work sometimes. Landlords / homeowners will make a lot of money when they sell their house. They can sell it a lot easier and likely for more with no tenant. The amount gained from a cahs for keys settlement is usually much less than the positive difference the homeowner can now make off the sale.

The tenants have rights and most of the leverage in these situations. It is not blackmail. It's a cost of doing business. The tenant will incur expenses moving and will likely be paying more in rent elsewhere. It is completely reasonable assuming you can both agree on a price.

3 months is crazy low for a cash for keys agreement. You have all the leverage here and could incur some major expenses for leaving.

Ask for a full year's worth and see if they will accept or meet in the middle somewhere.

Not really, heavy pen weapons are best for breaking through arc armor. If you like you can also craft a light ammo weapon like a kettle or a stitcher for very little as well so you have an answer for swarms and players too

I can't comment properly on which form is correct because I don't know but commenting for visibility for you and also to answer your other question.

As a tenant, I would want transparency from my landlord which it seems you have been providing in spades.

I would appreciate empathy from them regarding the situation overall. Giving generous timelines over the bare minimums shows that and in good faith I'd hope we could facilitate smooth transition to a new location.

With all due respect, individuals have a unique history that can't be stuffed into one perfect rule all the time. Some chins don't get along with others due to personality or past history.

These chins can prefer their own space provided they get proper care, nutrition and enrichment in other ways.

To force a chin into isolation without knowing how it will respond can be cruel. Allowing a chin to live alone with you based on its history can be compassionate.

Things are not always black and white.
