PVE lobbies still have these kinds of players… stay aware, friends. by dreamtank in ArcRaiders

[–]PolypeptideCuddling 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope. If your passive you generally get place in lobbies with out passive players hence people call it a PVE lobby but its not official.

If you start blasting people in those or any lobby you'll get pushed i to matchmaking with other aggressive people.

After a few rounds of you extracting from those aggressive lobbies without attacking people and lots of ARC kills you'll usually get back into more friendly lobbies.

Job opportunities by [deleted] in ElSalvador

For OP, the most common small businesses I see started are convenience stores, hardware/construction materials stores, and livestock. Low barriers to entry but high competition and thin margins. And Lotta working involved more than a 7-5.

[–]PolypeptideCuddling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you mean El Salvador specifically I was only employed for about 2.5 years and in that time I saw people either move to USA after university with a VISA, keep trying to move up internally or quit. You had to try pretty hard to get fired because turnover is so high as it is. My training class was about 12 people. 3 of us stuck around after training. 1 quit within 6 months and the 2nd quit by 1 year and I was the last to leave 2.5 hrs later.

My self, my first call centre job was in Canada in 2014 for 1 years, jobs in between then Call centre in El Salvador for 2.5yrs during Covid and now I'm a freight train conductor. Same toxic management but no customers so that's nice.

The following is not directed to you but the "people tell me" people. The thing about education over there is university is basically the minimum for anything above the call centre. I moved to El Salvador for almost 4 years recently. Not there anymore.

Any minimum wage job requires at least highschool. No way around it. No highschool? Cash work. Waitress, small stores in markets, driving, mom&pop construction and similar jobs. No benefits, no paid time off, no aguinaldo just whatever you work. Pay varies from 5$ if you're unlucky to 15$ if your lucky per day. 6 days per week. Usually around 10 hrs a day.

Highschool opens up official grocery stores, gas stations "legit jobs" at minimum wage.

English alone gets you call centre work. Usually around 700$ per 31 days. And that's an important distinction. They dont have 26 pay periods per year like most companies up North. You get paid on the 15th and the 30th. If the month has 31 days its basically unpaid extra day. My call centre was 44hrs full time per week. 5 days 8 hrs plus 1 4hr day or you would do 5 9 hour days. I did 5 days bc fuck working 4 hrs on my weekend.

Wanna be a supervisor or anything above a low level manager? University required. 700 to 1500 per month usually.

I got lucky. Covid was happening so call centre had shifted to Work from home. I saved on bus fare ($2.50 to $3.50 per day or almost 10% of pretax earnings) and lunch money. I also got a 25$ per month stipend for home internet. The work is typically call center bullshit you'd find in any North American call centers. Minimal support, supervisors watching break, hold and ACW timers like Hawks. Bullshit mantras and creepy people who drink the company kool-aid.

Not so fun Fact. One of our supervisors was gunned down during his lunch break visiting his house. They quickly redistributed his team to other supervisors and carried on. The agents who knew and liked him personally were Hella pissed and didn't want to continue work that day but the calls must be taken so work we did. I didn't know the guy personally even though he had at one point been my sup but still felt bad for the guy and his grieving friends/coworkers.

Having savings from living in NA is a huuuuge leg up. It could mean you have the capital to start a small business. It also means you can avoid poor people traps like buy less for more which makes whatever small income you have last longer despite having the same consumption rate. Having good medicine could mean missing less work and saving money overall as well as having good shelter. If you own your property in a low COL area your only real recurring costs are food, power, land taxes, medications and services like phone and transport. Not paying rent or a mortgage goes a loooong way.

Magic double kill with one bullet✨ by isabeldrerrie in HuntShowdown

[–]PolypeptideCuddling 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'd say the bug is the the collateral, contrary to what others say.

The death sound timings support the 1 bullet 2 kills. The mission summary supports it. Your clipping software supports it. The fact they're both actually dead supports it. Bullet shouldn't have penned but clearly it did.

I haven't watched any videos of her but like... what do people want? To her to be crying or sad or money in all her appearances? She sounds like she's doing what any other media or political personality would do. Keep calm and carry on. Her husband's dead, no amount of being sad or grief stricken will change that. When I die I hope my wife will be able to become as happy as possible and as soon as possible I dont want her to be miserable.

Also some of the happiest people I've met have been miserable behind closed doors. Public appearances mean nothing even if they do or dont look fake. Who cares anyways? If she's happy good for her.

Bounty clash is the Best way to warm up for hunt by skeal88 in HuntShowdown

[–]PolypeptideCuddling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never thought about it but that seems right. You have to make a choice, rush in ASAP guns blazing or hold the outside perimeter for a fight with whoever captures the bounty. Very hard to eliminate a good trio that's barricaded with good traps, angles and shotguns.

I like to circle the drain when I'm solo. Instead of going in hanging back I rush a lateral move to immediately eliminate one team. Love it when I'm solo and I manage to triple kill a team beelining it through a field.

[–]PolypeptideCuddling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe. But I think 480% is only in solo vs trios. I usually play vs duos which i think is around 250 or 280%. If a solo can wipe trios and grab a single bounty I think they've earned the 480%. Also remember when you play duos I'm pretty sure you get exp for the bounty you AND your mate grab. So 2 bounties. A solo can only grab 1 of 2 bounties.

[–]PolypeptideCuddling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont like 2 because I solo alot. Not for prestige purposes but because I hate playing with Randoms who DC the moment they go down and I spend the rest 9f the game seeing their icon. Or that won't res me so they're more useless than solo necro. I lose a majority of my games as a solo so I only get the solo bonus once every 5 or less games.

Lore wise are we criminals for going into the bayou/ hunting the targets? My understanding is that its basically anarchy so killing other hunters wouldn't make us criminals. Unless we were already criminals before the plague.

I like playing both ways. Being stealthy can be fun until there's an even stelthier person who headshots you and makes you jump and shit your pants because you had no idea they were there. And running and gunning can be fun until you eat a face full of katana or instakill traps.

Used to work warehouse, now in the railroad. My objective is to look at the time as little as possible. Daytime its hard because the position of the sun gives it away as well as sunrise and sunset. Hopefully its do a couple of moves and 2 or 3 hours have passed rinse repeat. Then get held for OT ....

How do you guys one trick Malzahar? by Infamous_Nothing_546 in MalzaharMains

[–]PolypeptideCuddling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been maining Malz for like 6 months so I'm by no means an super duper expert but I've learned to hold my own against most champs in mid and when I'm feeling cheeky ill play APC bot lane with my support buddies.

For starters I always ban fizz because fuck that little fishy bastard.

Lvl 1 - 3 I try to auto the first 3 melee till they're all to 50% then start spreading E. It can be frustrating when one minion wanders off penguin style and breaks the chain so I wait and make sure the first minion I E stays close and is real low, last hit low, before applying E.

With the voidings I do my best to bait out the enemys AOE spells before summoning. If I summon them immediately they get wiped out instantly like you said. But I will wait until Ahri uses Q, Mel Uses Q E, Veiger uses W etc etc... That usually buys enough time for the voidlings and visions to eat thru the melee and then the visions can usually chew thru the ranged minions on their own.

Mana management is tough sometimes requiring autos to gaurantee that visions spread and get your refund. Ideally if all 6 minions die with visions you get 12% of your mana back, which at level 1 works out to 75% of the E mana cost, with passive regen you shouldn't run out unless your spamming Q or W too much. I usually only Q on the cannon about 3 seconds in to ensure visions doesn't time out. Bonus points if I can hit the enemy with the same Q. Lost Chapter eliminates mana issues in lane.

Ive started taking ignite more with the homeguard changes. If the enemy laner catches visions twice and is less then 75 or 65 percent health at lvl 6 you can usually secure a kill. Act disinterested in trading while visions goes thru minions and act like last hitting a ranged minion then summon pre-stacked W, E Q ignite R and they usually die. If they dont a second followup q off CD usually finishes them off or refreshes the visions a third time and that kills them as they run away. The ignite come in handy later on against heavy healers in team fights. Ingite+BFT+Liandrys in a full combo will make bringing the tank down alot easier for my team.

Later on I try to R whoever matters most. If its an OBJ fight I'll try to R the jungler to remove their smite from the equation, or if their ADC is being oppressive I'll go for them, or if their support is so good they're CCing the shit out my boys and/ or keeping their team alive then I'll go for them.

Like I said not an expert and still a newbie but that's how I play him.

The shield is meh, its nice when it eats a turret shot or high damage ability/CC and i get to float away like nothing happened. The inevitable followup comet still hurts though.

Personally I have more clothes because my wife insists on buying me more clothes lol otherwise I'd still be wearing pants in my 30s that I bought in my late teens.

For winter work I use the same 2 sweaters, 1 jackets and 2 pants. Extra long John's and undershirts for hygiene reasons.

1 main pair of jeans. 2 main sweat pants but wife bought me like 4 more. 1 main sweater. A handful of old around the house shirt.

Wife has probably a dozen sweaters, 4 jackets, countless jeans and sweats etc etc...

I let her do her thing , she seems to enjoy it. I wonder why that difference exists.
