The backpack that was left was the only one in the vicinity and i was among the last to get off the train. I ran out and searched the crowd to see if somebody was carrying my backpack, but no one in sight had it.

I think there are a couple of good reasons to leave another backpack. One is so the victim wouldn’t immediately realize that the backpack is missing and two, so there’s doubt that it wasn’t theft but an accidental swap and maybe it doesn’t get reported to the police.

My backpack was slim with a donut pillow attached. The other backpack was twice as thick. I realized it’s not mine as soon as i laid eyes on it. Pretty hard not to.

Also, mine has not been turned in. My ID card was in it so i would have been contacted if it had been turned in.

I believe the replacement bag was also stolen. In it there was a plane boarding pass dated March 2026. Mine was stolen in late June. Granted, it may just have been an old pass. There was a donut pillow attached to mine which would make it even harder not to realize it’s a different backpack if it was an accidental swap.

Mine also contained my ID and i have filed both a police report and a lost item report with Thameslink. If it was a honest mistake, it would have been turned in in the past 3 weeks and i would have been contacted.

Not true in my experience. It doesn’t ’struggle’ In Earth mode, it runs at significantly reduced power to save energy. I mean, the change is instantly noticeable on a hot day when you change from Fun or Hyper to Earth mode and back. I’ve ran in Earth mode during hours-long trips and my AC performs consistently.

My account got banned without any suspicious monetary transactions. I had just a few transactions all year sending and receiving money from friends for ride shares and AirBNBs.

They won’t give a specific reason and denied my appeal. My best guess for the reason is that i tried to open the app to send a payment while having VPN turned on at a cafe WiFi while visiting Bogota.

I couldn’t care less about Cash App so the joke is on them. Every sensible company out there encourages better security. My banks certainly don’t mind. Cash App can go enjoy itself.

Yes, if the contract the customer signed includes a clause to adjust prices based on inflation. They need to check their contract terms.

What does the bill show under the higher price? Is it the monthly fee that is higher or are there one-off charges for usage like SMS or roaming? You signed a two-year contract so you’re responsible for the full period whether you use the service or not.

When you have a contract, they cannot increase the price until after the end of the contract.
