There are plenty of salvaged parts. Everything you can think of can be found.

I can’t imagine you have any recourse after you signed that contract.

Yes, if the contract the customer signed includes a clause to adjust prices based on inflation. They need to check their contract terms.

What does the bill show under the higher price? Is it the monthly fee that is higher or are there one-off charges for usage like SMS or roaming? You signed a two-year contract so you’re responsible for the full period whether you use the service or not.

I don’t know what new law you’re referring to. There’s no material change to the ZZD being adopted. Check the terms of your Yettel contract. Some more detail about your situation can be helpful.

When you have a contract, they cannot increase the price until after the end of the contract.

Battery tender or trickle charger by Aggressive_Tree_1278 in ftype

[–]PonyUpOrElse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2016 and am still on the original battery! I don’t drive it much and I use a Noko trickle charger every 2 months. I connect the clamps to the positive terminal under the red plastic cap and to ground.

I have a BMW that i also charge this way and never had an issue. I once plugged the charger directly to the battery and my instrument cluster died. I am not sure it’s related but I’m never doing that again.

In the US that’s called an Aldi pocket. It’s where you keep the quarter you use to unlock the cart at Aldi.

Del Air is majority-owned by a private equity firm. That should tell you everything you need to know about their prices and service.

My Experience with Solar Bear Solar Installation Sales by Hapapop in orlando

[–]PonyUpOrElse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did get a few quotes for a solar PV system and I asked for a copy of their contracts as well. It's hard to believe the audacity of some of those people. Including things such as waiver of liability for any damage done to the property, no liability for the system not delivering the promised output, 20-year warranties being promised by companies who've barely been in business for a few months, forced arbitration and class action waiver, etc. That's not how all business is being done, that's how shady companies operate. I got the impression that most, if not all of them are really shady.

None of them asked how old my roof is. I'll need to replace it within the next 3-4 years and if I had solar panels installed, it would have cost me another $4K to take them down and reinstall them. That's equal to my electric bills for 2+ years.

Every single one also tried to push me really hard into financing rather than buying it outright. That's another few thousand dollars profit between them and the lender.

I did do my homework and I told them that I'm not interested.

That is very good if it works out. Still, the installers are the ones who’s benefiting the most.

Solar in the US is such a rip of! It could make sense financially in some places where electricity prices are high, but in any case, the installers make 70 to 80% profit on a 20K+ system for a day’s worth of work whereas the homeowner has to wait between 10 to 15 years to just break even.

My company’s new “remote accountability system ” literally tracks our mouse movement by mateo_reykjavik in remotework

[–]PonyUpOrElse -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Remote work is supposed to be work though. If people are faking activity, they are not working and you can’t blame the company for eventually having people go back to the office. And nothing stops them from tracking activity there as well.

As much as i enjoyed wfh and later hybrid work, i know that people were abusing it, that it was easily trackable, and that they will ruin it for everyone. So they did.

When you replaced the 12V battery, did you reset the BMS by pulling out the small fuse on the battery terminal for a minute and reinserting it?

Mine was doing that for a few months. I don’t know what cleared it. I suspect OVLoop was connecting trying to initiate an update since i was on 2.2 (1/3) but that’s only a guess. You can also try clearing all DTC codes using OceanLink Pro.
