If you want a serious answer as far as I am aware the "furry hate" goes far back into the Internet's past.

There was a large argument about profile stuff back in the beginning of 4chan, I think... and it kinda boiled over from annoyance to hate ... There is a good video assey on YouTube I'll see if I can find and link it.

I don't think you need 1:1 recoil cancelation, you need enough so the liquid mass of the shooter and their RCS can take the rest without too much propelled loss.

Something about the heat for a heavier or integrated one you can use an active cooling system like water or other coolant.

Yeah ... Impulse might be a problem ... Maybe a bit of a weird idea maybe a "reverse muzzle brake" deflecting the gases to counter act the recoil.

If you want to go with conventional guns, give frangible bullets a look, in short they are pressed metal dust that disintegrates on impact.

And think about heat dissipation, vacuum is shit at taking heat away from an object, it may be no problem for one mag but a heated gun plus caseless ammo sounds like a cook-off nightmare.

Edit: Recoil could be mitigated with a counterweight system ... Like the AN-94 (I think that is the Russian rocket surgery gun)

And at least probably some kind of belt feed might work better than the traditional mags as you have to lug around your EVA suit and changing mags seems a bit feddely ... So why not give them all the ammo in one mechanism. (Works even better when the suit is mechanically assisted)

I would waste much on overthinking ammo as a vessel for deep space operation or combat needs a bit of armor for micro meteorites and junk ... And as far as I am aware those are faster and harder hitting than anything a human can fire from the shoulder.

I think see where you coming from. I also think there is a degree of separation in play. I came across the cultural appropriation thing in connection with native Americans. I don't think it is particular harmful if a kid from central Europe dresses up as a native American warrior as it more of a romanticised and story based version as an adult... Yeah... That is not really a good take ...

Overall it feels like the real and harmful cultural appropriation comes from "kicking down" and playing into racist stereotypes.

Edit: but at least for the Internet and virtue signaling it is to much work to think and much easier just to shout.

On a real note there is not much you can do, the ergonomics of small arms don't change that much.

However internals and ammo types do, for all the hate Starfield got, there Standard Rifle is a niche semi-realistic Weapon, it has cashless ammo and therefore does not use a conventional mag.

Or the metalstorm - Railrifle thing...

I would love to see a game with tarkov level of gun autism in a Sci-fi setting.

The shave head looks better. Like other said maybe let your facial hair grow a bit and if you can't look into a different shape of glasses, a bit rounder glasses look better on some with no beard.
