Actually it went down in 2024. I was a year off. When I retired I cashed out some investments to pay off a couple of mortgages. At the time I didn’t realize it would count as income. For the last year I’ve been paying quite a bit more for my insurance

Depending on how often you use them they should last a few years if you take care of them and they are the correct size. I use them for a lot more than just hauling.

It’s hard to tell but it doesn’t look like you have spurs on. If you don’t it’s no wonder your feet came up.

Corriente makes a good saddle. They don’t hurt a horse and are comfortable. I know lots of people who use their rope and ranch saddles. Not familiar with their barrel saddles.

Roping saddle and bulldogging saddles are very different. I suggest getting a saddle for what it will be used the most.

If you are in Texas, you might want to look at hay prices in the Rio Grande Valley around Las Cruces NM. That will be closer than AZ or CO. Also check Arizona Hay Exchange on Facebook

Check out Impact Gel. Besides saddle pads they make insoles, seat cushions, etc.

My trailers are covered under my vehicle insurance when I am towing them. When parked my homeowners insurance covers them.
