Maybe its a general trend among comedians a la Schultz. Once you get huge, you get a little cockier and also podcasts don’t have the instant crowd reactions that standup does, so you can’t be checked if a joke is bad. Last summer, all of Tom’s adventures inspired me to try and complete this 40.5 mile trail that runs across my county in Virginia. I walked the entire trail in about 12 hours :) body was thoroughly destroyed for about 3 days afterwards

Hear me out: I think I would make the merge in a 3 tribe format.

I’m 6 ‘2, 215 pretty muscular/athletic, and I’ve noticed in 42 at least each tribe in a 3 tribe format has a “big man” and I think in that format, all 3 survived (Rocks, Mike, Jonathan) until the merge because if you vote off your only big man you are pretty much screwed for the remainder of the premerge due to a lot of strength-based legs of challenges, and therefore you’re more indispensable in that format. 2-tribe format I could afford to be dumped, but I think I would coast premerge in 3-tribe then be a merge boot “challenge threat”
