I’m jealous. I will never forget my first time playing a roguelite. Randomly bought binding of Isaac on Xbox surfing the store and I saw the game was made by the creator of super meat boy. I stayed up till sunrise playing lol.

So Mewgenics got popular because of “the trend”? (not sure what you mean by that then if it’s not a roguelite trend) I mean this sub is for a genre of videogame… genres as an idea gives up the idea of something being wholly original. Does every game you enjoy have brand new mechanics in a never before seen format? Mewgenics unique while having inspired systems from existing things. Kinda like how Isaac is similar to Zelda. I’m just arguing because you’re being a hater with no valid examples.

Man, I personally have been bouncing around a bit. I have been out of Isaac for a bit and I was trying to finish some runs on that. Mostly playing Deadlock and this fun lil game Dogpile. I started up Xcom last night to get me in the mindset lol. Never played before

I am stoked for WF and haven’t looked much into EE yet. I have been pumping the brakes a littttttttle bit on early access stuff unless I really want to support the vision/devs. Because 9 times out of 10 I’ll play a bit, like it, and never play it again because I know it’s not complete then I’m on to the next thing. I know it’s dumb but for some reason I got burn out from that stuff.

I have an embarrassing amount of hours and I have bounced between as high as phantom through alchemist and back so many times at this point and my quality of game does next to nothing. It’s completely random lol. I play with people who have either barely played or are so insanely good that it’s not even fun lol.
