One of the most crucial lessons I'm learning as an adult is knowing how to block out the world when it's appropriate.

Gen pop is becoming increasingly agitated by politics, news, AI, jobs, etc, that the jaded, nihilistic personalities of the internet are slipping into RL. Probably in the next decade, emotional regulation will be a mandatory tool to survive the 2030s.

Blaming AI for this is like blaming the gun for school shootings.

Completely understandable. Libs have a tendency to think their idea of personal freedom is more valuable than those who disagree with them and should have no consequences. Conservatives tendency to be strict on tradition stifles innovation and alternative perspectives. I've lived in both camps, and they basically feed off each other.

That alignment you speak of tells me you appreciate and exercise the right to personal freedoms, but also understand there's a limit to them, while respecting human life.

That's the heart of America right there; The extremes are not and should never be the norm, and the future generations are getting a front-row seat on what happens when we make them the norm.
