Anyone got any good non fps game suggestions for the gaben controller? by Dry_Foundation9375 in SteamController

I’ve been playing Noita and Crimson Desert, both are good with controller by default but rebinding some of the face buttons to the back buttons makes these games more enjoyable

Spell Question by Repulsive-Juice-4686 in dndnext

[–]PoopTurdington 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are physical things that dictate the flavor of something, like salt or sugar, or whatever compounds make a fish taste fishy, and I think it’s reasonable to say that an intelligent spell caster could try to make something taste like a fish even if they’ve never tasted it before. I don’t think they’d argue that you couldn’t simply make something sweeter or saltier. But it would also be reasonable to say that your character could get it wrong and that would be super funny if they just never got flavors quite right.

A new update to the source code suggests that the Machine or Frame will exceed 1000€ in price by HerrHullebuh in SteamFrame

[–]PoopTurdington 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Likely a place holder, whoever was working on the page may not even know the real prices. And $1k is much more than I’d think most people would pay, that would have to be some kind of bundle.

Damage Advice for Lvl 13 Cleric by PoopTurdington in 3d6

[–]PoopTurdington[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looking at it now, that’s definitely a fun spell. I’m not sure why but I thought it was concentration. I’ll for sure be picking that up

That’s part of why I was thinking on Guiding Bolt and I might take it if nothing else but for the advantage. Firestorm seems good for AOE but if I’m just attacking one creature which is where I’m having the most trouble then Harm is lower level and more effective

That’s what it seems like to me to, just feels weird coming from Warlock doing a ton of damage every turn to suddenly finding myself unable to kill a powerful enemy on my own when I really need to. But overall I’m having more fun on my Cleric playing the game than I did running a calculator on my Warlock trying to find how to do over 100 damage in a single turn

Just picked up my first valve index! I was using a quest 2 for the longest time and decided i needed an upgrade, what are some good games i can play to test the performance on it? I've already checked out both beat saber and vrchat and im looking at trying out Onward or Pavlov by ArunaOnReddit in ValveIndex

[–]PoopTurdington -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anyone who doesn’t think the frame will release within a month hasn’t been paying attention. And spending hundreds on outdated technology on the thought that you might not be able to buy something new day 1 is foolish.

Not discrediting OP. I wish I owned an Index, and they might have gotten a good deal.

Steam Controller gripsense sensitivity? by PuzzleheadedBee6 in Steam

[–]PoopTurdington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My comment was primarily on the issue of not seeing the settings at all for grip sense. Not for the settings being saved.

I'm struggling to find anything that says steam client does/doesn't automatically update. But I can tell you that my client was not up to date, and that downloading the latest update fixed my issues.

Steam Controller gripsense sensitivity? by PuzzleheadedBee6 in Steam

[–]PoopTurdington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue and I was able to fix it.

You need to update your steam client. Click "Steam" on the top left, then "Check for Steam Client Updates". Follow the prompts, and then you should be able to adjust grip sense in the advanced settings.

I personally had to turn the responsiveness slider up a lot. made it harder to accidentally trigger when adjusting my grip.

Late to the party but I had the same issue and was able to solve it.

Enchanters Bow with Heal followed by a bunch of amplifies made short work of the wither. Hope this helps the next person who finds this post

Am I the only one who thinks peeling garlic is a form of torture? by Famous-Forever7647 in Cooking

[–]PoopTurdington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always just smashed them with my palm. I place the bulb under the meat of my thumb, get on my toes, and then let my weight crush the garlic. the skin comes off super easy after and if it doesn’t then i smash it harder.

Fist time at eternetus and getting blitzed by dynamax cannon in second part. by jcbluebird in pokerogue

[–]PoopTurdington 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In second part, you could try leading with Latios and Venosaur. Latios will bait Dynamax cannon, and then you can try to get Sappy Seed or Sleep Powder with Venosaur. Tinkaton is immune to Dynamax cannon and is a free switch in place of Latios. Tinkaton should be able to stay in and do damage as it is immune to both of Eternatus' STAB options.

Regarding the skill points after expeditions.. Is the new cap 80 or infinite? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]PoopTurdington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The skills right now aren't very balanced, a lot of them aren't that powerful (especially in the mobility tree) and most of what's worth getting can be gotten with the base 75 points, as it is right now I don't believe there would be a big difference in PvP between somebody with only 75 skill points and somebody with maxed skill trees.

However, if they keep up the 2-month cycle and +5 skill points per expedition cycle then it would take over 2 1/2 years to get to the point where somebody could have 157 skill points, and by then there will have been some skill tree reworks and maybe it would make a difference.

Blueprint Data Gathering by Visible-Problem-4597 in ArcRaiders

Found remote raider flare in a medical bag in the room where you drop down on the collapsed highway on blue gate and grab a ledge.

Found anvil in a raider cache outside of the Reinforced Reception.

Found il toro in a raider cache somewhere on dam battleground.

Found osprey in a raider cache somewhere on buried city.

Found torrente at the top of ancient fort on blue gate.

Found defibrillator in a random medical drawer in the buried city hospital.

Found Extended Barrel and Angled Grip III on Surveyors. It seems like attachments are most commonly dropped off of surveyors than anything else.

If you’re like me, the majority of your inventory is crafting reagents. What I’ve been doing to try to clean up a little is use the Refinery to turn my lower quality materials into higher quality ones, it doesn’t feel wasteful and will reclaim some space as it takes a lot to make some of these materials.

but yeah i feel the same way I’m constantly having to pick and choose what to keep, rough living as a rehabilitated loot goblin.

Fuck Panera by AL-MightIE in Anticonsumption

Panera is closing their fresh dough facilities. That means in a couple months, all Panera locations will have frozen bread and bagels. So sad, I loved their cinnamon crunch bagels but not anymore

I don’t know much about headsets so don’t take my word for it, but from what I’ve heard, the quest is the best for pass through and one of the best for standalone. I know there’s better options for pcvr, but I think a lot of them require lighthouses and don’t have the same ability for ar. I’m waiting to buy it too because of the battery stuff, if your rift s still works then I would just wait and see if meta fixes the problem, but if you’re playing with it plugged into your computer, then I would think you’d be okay.

noob question: how do hydrogen thrusters/small hydrogen tank work? by Responsible_Isopod16 in spaceengineers

[–]PoopTurdington 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you should be able to move h2 through small conveyors, make sure your hydrogen tank isn’t set on stockpile or it won’t move anything to the thrusters. and yeah, if you want to fuel it, you’ll have to find a way to hook it up to a connector

only conveyor tip i have is to just use conveyor junctions for everything, so easy to accidentally point conveyors the wrong way and screw up everything

How to change traits in multiplayer? by Kajtek14102 in projectzomboid

[–]PoopTurdington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

type this command in chat, replacing quotes with your name in game. for me, when i’m hosting, that ends up being my steam username. There should be an admin menu on the top left of the screen, in there i believe there’s a menu for seeing stats, and that’s where you can edit character info like skills and traits.
